I'll get it...After the first price drop. Uncharted 1 or 2 weren't games I felt the need to replay, which is odd, because I play most of my shooters at least 2-3 times each.

Yay. More unimaginative phone-ins to cash in on namesakes. Just what we need.

Can't help but wonder what the talent behind this series could be creating instead of shoveling out the same game every few years.

Keep in mind that Drake's at least entertaining and usually voices precisely what's on the player's mind.

Example: I was about to get strafed by a helicopter and, on queue, he spouts off "Oh, Jesus Christ!? What did I do to deserve this?" while I was thinking something similar.

I noticed this, too. Leading me to believe that Nolan North probably ad-libbed a lot of those lines. Naughty Dog even admitted that most of the best lines were not written, but made up by the voice actors.

Spoiler: The best example of Drake saying what was on my mind

In the city, after leaving the hotel, you are more or less relaxed. When you start to climb over a gap, a helicopter appears. Drake and I both said at the same time, "You gotta be kidding me!"

On the train, after leaving the tunnel, the helicopter returns to shoot you. After a moment, I literally became a little fed up with it and said to myself "Oh come on, how am I supposed to take out a helicopter?" Only to realize that Drake was saying almost exactly the same thing at the same time.

I think Naughty Dog did an excellent job on the pacing and dialog.

The Subtitle needs some tweaking but I loved both uncharteds and considering I only play once in a full moon its my favorite game(s). I have a xbox360... I dislike it with a passion. The games themselves are always interesting but hopefully the third one will blow the other two out of the water.

Then they start cheating on each other and sleeping is seperate beds, hence the subtitle.

Would be kind of cool if it got announced within the next week.

I highly doubt we'll even see an official announcement before the holidays at least.

Considering it hasn't even been announced yet, I would wager sometime in 2012. I mean, hell, Bioshock Infinite is already announced and we won't see that til 2012. Considering the Uncharted games are polished to an almost mirror sheen upon release, I'm guessing 2012.

EDIT: OT: I am really excited for this game. Drake's Fortune was awesome, Among Thieves was phenomenal.

I wouldn't be so sure about 2012.

Uncharted 2 was announced in December 2008, and it released in October 2009. So if see an announcement this December as well during the spike awards, I would bet on a 2011 release.

I hear ya, I can't really get behind the name at the moment either.. But at the same time, when Among Thieves was announced, I said "seriously? Lame name much?" and after playing it for a while, I don't know why, but I guess it grew on me. I mean, let's be honest, was Drake's Fortune really an award winning name in the first place? What they lack in nomenclature, they make up for in awesome

Even if the gameplay remains somewhat the same, I'm sure they'll come with some outstanding plot to compensate. Til then, I'm just gonna wait for the reviews, and if it sucks, back to Uncharted 2.
