Underused game weapons.

One example is the plasma pistol.(halo3 and reach)

It disables shields leaving your opponent vulnerable so you can easily kill them with your other weapon.
I use it all the time to get easy kills but I always see discarded or unused plasma pistols littering the ground and I happily pick them up.

Spears.
Being probably the most widely used weapon EVER in real life, it's odd that spears haven't made a nice jump into the videogames side. Last game I remember using a spear in was Diablo 2. Spears didn't even show up in Dragon Age.

Why just yesterday, some guy gave me a funny look so i falcon punched hi straight up. im fairly sure he died.

Also ialways carry a plasma pistol in Halo, Campaign or Multiplayer. it stops vechiles, gets rid of shields.

Campaign on legendary or the majority of multiplayer becomes easy when you realise plasma pistol + bash = +1

Are you kidding? I thought everyone used the pistol? Wasn't there a large amount of complaint when they replaced it with the crappy magnum in 2 and 3?

I don't use pistols too much, most enemies have machine guns so charging in with M9 is crazy.

Indeed, on both accounts. And yeah, spears were pure pwnage in Demon's Souls. Though my statement about spears being too rare still stands. It should appear in at least 80% of games that feature swords.

I played pc version a few years after it was realesed, just before the time halo 2 was launched on the pc and halo 3 came out

My emblem in Reach is a traffic cone. The fact that it's there shows that it's a hugely popular weapon.

Also, Dynasty Warriors has spears everywhere, to counterargue what someone else said about spears. And Ma Chao is awesome with them.
