Uneeded Game Sequels

I think Call of Duty 2, 3, and 5 were completely uneeded, especially since there were like 5 different versions of Call of Duty 1, which was basically Medal of Honor: Frontline. come to think of it all Call of Duty games, except 4, were uneeded. Far too many World War 2 games in my opinion, if you think about it pretty much everything that happened in that war has been made into a video game.

Another person complaining about WWII games. Stop using that as a fucking excuse for once.
Im going to go with Red Octanes Band hero. It's a complete waste since they already ahve fucking Guitar Hero.

Are you kidding me?! Think of how many music games there are out there, then go ahead and multiply that by 100, that should be somewhere in the ballpark of how many WWII games there are.

EDIT: BTW, I agree with you on the music game thing. They must be stopped!

Anything after Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Also, the .hack//G.U. series was pretty much a repeat of everything we already knew, just over done with terrible acting and character development

OMG, .Hack was approx £120 for 1 game stretched out over 4 releases. In the end just couldn't even be bothered to get to the end!

Pokemon! There are too many pokemon games! Basically there are 5 original ones and 10 copies of them.

6 Originals. Red, Blue/Green, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal. Then there's 6 copies, but some i don't mind. I hate the 3rd Gen though.

FF-X2. FF-X had an interesting premise, quirky extras you could do (like the monster hunts and snagging the ultimate weapons for your characters), and a good music score.

FF-X2 was just...it. I can't describe how bad it was. Did they really need to milk the golden teat that much more?

Hmmm, I dunno... I thought it was pretty fun. It was a bit more fast-paced, and the battle system is definitely an improvement. Not to mention the mission structure works very well. I'd say I prefer it over FFX, but that's just me.

OT: Modern Warfare 2... Ugh...

Modern Warfare is too valuable a subject to not make a sequel, it would be like not making a HL2 because HL1 was great.

Halo ODST seems like a good sequel, but why can't it be about where Master Chief drifted to? Another would be most sports games. Have they changed at all since the first of the genre?

I always feel that the third Pokemon of each generation (Platinum, Emerald... Crystal actually had some major improvements though, Yellow was shit) is a bit unnecessary I'd rather them put that effort into to just getting on with the new game.

Though it was the first one I played. I think I liked that you could have Blastoise, Charizard AND Venusaur.

I played the first three Spyro games on PS1, then I got it on DS...I was very, very disappointed.

I knew someone would say Final Fantasy. I can understand Hailene's comment about FFX-2 specifically (since I completely agree), but FF as a whole has little to no continuity. They are sequals in name only. Go ***** at a series that deserves it.

OT: COD4:MW came together so well, it didn't really need a sequel. Also, Guitar Hero's starting to get embarassing.

Well to be fair Infinity Ward couldn't just leave behind the only series they've ever done so abruptly. Besides, there's still a fair bit left to be explored in terms of gameplay I bet and at least IW actually try and add new features.

I think after MW2 (at the most MW3) then they should mix it up again, or let it die.

There are 10 Guitar Hero games. There are 9 Call of Duty games. I think that all of them after United Offensive should have been stopped. Including 4.

im not really bitchin, ive beaten a couplae myself, its just i dont feel it needs more. also i agree with you on guitar hero, they're making a lego one, and thats just stupid
