Just finished my first year of my History coure at Aberystwyth University.

Personally I love debating in seminars...and of course the partying.

mate, you go to the same uni as me and live less 20 miles away from me. thats pretty creepy... did you also happen to go to the DKMs gig in april i think? there was some one there that lives in welshpool and doing history in aber (sorry, i stalked your profile abit )

OT: i've just finished my first year in Aber and im going countryside management (YES THATS A REAL COURSE ) best thing about it is the people i've met and the atmosphere of the town (if you go a day in aber with out seeing something weird, you've locked yourself in your room.)

I must say I was completely shocked that we even had shit like PE, sociology, politology, economy and some other absolutely useless crap. I thought I'd be absolutely getting rid of those, but no...

What the fck were the 12 years of school for? This... shit... in CS... make it stop.

I just finished my second year of History at Lancaster University. Great university, love the subject, reading what is essentially the same point of view but with minor variations can get a bit tedious. Doing my dissertation next year, have done fuck all background reading so far, rock on.

Now to look for jobs. I was planning to work in the public centre, but not any more. Thanks coalition government!

I know one person on here who I think is at Oxbridge or was, but I don't think he's around at the moment. At least, I haven't seen him lately.

I'm just about a Year 13 now, so here comes the whole scrum for universities. I'm probably going to hate that part.

I want to know how difficult it is to get in, since i might try for it.

It depends on the subject, one of my friends got accepted to study sociology with only 2 A's in easy subjects.

But if your going to study something like Maths or English your going to need perfect grades.

Studying Medicine, currently half way through my third year, Monash University in Melbourne but my placement is in Bendigo, I'm loving working in a hospital this year while pretending I actually know what I'm doing around patients.

University of Queensland in Australia, 3rd year Bachelor of Science: Ecology major, the definite best thing for me is the freedom to do whatever I want (cycle through the city at midnight? no one even cares! could never do that at home), eat whatever I want and live how I want, living with friends is great too.

I'm gonna start (again cough cough) in September at Roosevelt academy in Middelburg. I love the fact that I can pick (to a certain degree) my own subjects. So I've picked: History, Politics and International law.

Im gonna go back to university in the spring semester so that I can learn other things.

I'll be returning to Columbus for a second year at Ohio State University this fall for Computer Science & Engineering specializing in Software. I really can't wait.

I will be attending the University of Texas in the fall as a transfer student. I'll be in my "3rd year" I suppose, being roughly half-way done with my degree. I'm studying Computer Science, which oddly enough at UT is considered a natural science. Along with biology, chemistry, mathematics and. . . Fashion design?!

I'm a fourth-year MU student working on my illustration major and creative writing minor. The best part about it is the student organizations for me, honestly. I'm the president and head moderator for the campus' Humans vs. Zombies organization, which sounds a hell of a lot nerdier than I'd like to admit. No one ever expects me to be the guy in charge of that bi-annual craziness.
