He should now post a poster accusing the university of communism and the censorship of free ideas.

So his next poster should include:

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me...

That's just ridiculous.
I wonder if the guy started singing "You can't take the sky from me"?

EDIT
And ninja'd. Which is worrying considering I am playing Shogun2 Total War and I just assassinated the entire Shogun family.

I am a student in my last semester of college on this campus. I'm 37 and laugh at quite a bit of the PC crap that goes on here. But worry not. This threat assessment thing is just a warm up to make sure the process works for post November 1st conflicts with students who are following the law and conceal carrying their firearms, but not following the universities wishes by leaving them at home.

The poster can be interpreted as a threat by others and/or could cause those that view it to believe that you are willing/able to carry out actions similar to what is listed
cause a material and/or substantial disruption of school activities and/or be constituted as a threat
Really? They think someone will interpret it that way? Do they believe their students are this stupid? Unlike them, the students still have common sense.
Oh and what in the world is that and why would a university need something like that?

American Universities, producing a fine line of robots since 1996. Also thats when the monkeys took head office. Hmm.

His new poster needs to be a group of robots standing together with a man passing through a door. Captioned "Free minded open thinkers only.

One of my lecturers has a fake road sign saying "Quantum junction: Get in both lanes". That doesn't mean he advocates dodgy driving, he is simply making a joke, and if you can't see that then you shouldn't be anywhere near a university.

On a lighter note, what in the hell is a "threat assessment team" and why would any university need one?
Obama?

OT: Some little hitler getting their fix. I hope it horribly backfires.

As far as I know, those were established in a knee-jerk reaction after Vtech.
Although I assumed it was for protection against, you know, actual violence not posters that mention "violent acts" or some shit.
Quite the bastardization, even if the idea was somewhat dubious in the first place.

Are these people stupid or is the University of Wisconsin run by the Thought Police? Either way, this doesn't make the American education system look very good.

The second poster got a chuckle out of me. I would love to have that. As to the first poster, if a threat made against those who threaten others is threatening a university, then I have to question the motives of that university.
Professor James Miller is my hero.

Theater prof? Obviously his his next poster should be Ian McKellen as King Lear, captioned "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers."

...Yep, sounds about right. Many things change with the passage of time, but not the disconnect between reality and the administrators of education institutions.

Good luck Dr. Miller, I have every desire, but little hope, that you will get them to come around.

Load of rubbish. If I could only speak to University Police Chief Lisa A. Walter, I would tell her only this. "If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you return my poster now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

Let her interpret that how she likes :)
