I think the Halo games are subpar at best, I do like the universe of Halo, but the games themselves for the most part suck in terms of gameplay and their story. Halo 4 especially was a travesty for also redesigning the visuals of the characters/weapons/enemies etc for no reason.
I have to agree, and I think the problem stems from the first game actually being a great game for its time in terms of gameplay, but then they stopped changing things up and kept it more or less the same from that point.
I own and really like my Pebble smartwatch, despite most people seeming to think the idea of a smartwatch is pretty stupid.
Hum, interesting, there was a guy in my public speaking class who had his persuasive speech be telling us about why a smartwatch is useful and convenient. Actually made me consider buying one, though I had no money for it at the time and by the time I did I'd forgotten about it.
I enjoy the Resident Evil movies as good popcorn flicks.

Walking Dead is a horrifically overhyped piece of shit. I don't get how anybody stuck with it after the truly awful season 2.

The Hobbit 3 was an utterly shitty and a mess of a movie, I didn't like a single thing about it. It was an awful conclusion to the trilogy.
I have to agree with all this.
Prometheus is single handedly the worst movie I have ever seen.
I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. I've seen most of the reaction to the movie be negative because of its nonsensical plot and the whole people being morons being what makes the whole thing happen.

OT: Yet another one for me (third time posting on this thread, how many more until a free coffee?) is less unpopular opinion for society and more for here and other areas of social media and the internet I frequent. I like the Big Bang Theory.

We all have our lists, and I'm sure many of us aren't listing all of them.
Still, I'd like to share mine. They are all in random order, which is funny since I love organization.

- I think The Last of Us was a mistake for Naughty Dog. (And a terrible story for that matter.)
- My favourite Star Wars movie is episode 3. (Though this one doesn't seem that unpopular)
- I extremely hate harem anime.
- I prefer smaller boobs.
- Science will solve most things, but not everything. (This one can change depending on the future)
- I don't care about some social issues in the world. (And I'm pretty sure if I said this in public today I would be strapped to a stake and burnt alive. Thanks Australia.)
- Australia isn't as good or bad as it seems.
- Bioshock Infinite was a terrible game.
- I don't like any MMOBAs.

That got a lot off my chest.
Compared to other lists, well, mine doesn't seem that grand. Heck, I'm sure I could think up of more, but sometimes we just don't bother.

Make a Pokemon game where you can actually catch them all?
I think the first two generations, since gen 1 does have a small card you can printout if you catch all 151, and gen 2 had the ability to have all gen 1 pokemon transferred to it. I think it's at gen 3 where it stopped being possible.

Well..

-I actually like Jeff Dunham's stand-up. (Dodges tomatoes) What? I do! I also like the Blue Collar Comedy Tour as well.
-I never hated Jar-Jar Binks.... Buuut I can see why a lot of people do.
-World of Warcraft is overrated.

That's all off the top of my head at the moment...

Religion is not the source of all, most, or even a significant minority of the world's problems, and pretending that it is will not help change anything. On that note, the most irritating and harmful fanatics are the "fundamentalist" atheists, not the theists.

"The Last of Us" is a game with great mechanics but an awful story, and Joel is probably the evil, reprehensible protagonist of any game I've ever played. That ending was a damn war crime, and no one is going to convince me otherwise.

The people that live in our current age are not any smarter than those that lived a thousand years, and they are definitely not better people from a moral standpoint. Human nature has never changed and never will change, not for better and not for worse.

When people like to think themselves clever and superior by watching trashy reality TV shows like "Jersey Shore" so they can mock the actors they think are less intelligent than them, I feel the urge to remind them that those "stupid" people are making millions off of the desperate attempts of "brilliant" viewers to find anyone that qualifies as inferior to them, due to them being utterly average people that no one cares about. So who is the actual "stupid" one?

Moral relativism is a plague on humankind, one that needs to be stamped out as soon as possible.

The fact that people in our times are willing to place animal lives above human ones is extremely and deeply disturbing. I own and love two dogs, but I would kill both of them and a thousand other dogs like them with my bare hands if I thought it would save a single human life, and not being willing to do that is monstrous in my eyes.

On that note, human beings are completely and utterly above all other life on Earth. Extending animal rights is a courtesy and a kindness, but the rights of animals end as soon as our convenience begins. Mankind's destiny is to rule this planet and expand out to colonize and control all others as well, so suspending our drive forward due to petty concerns is pointless. Pretending that animals are somehow equal to us when this is clearly not the case only saps us of our will to act decisively to achieve that destiny, and should be actively discourage whenever possible.

A global government power that is superior in authority to all other nations and can direct the entirety of the human race is not only inevitable but necessary.

"Sexual Liberation" is unhealthy, and so is the fixation that people constantly place on base biological urges instead of reason or self-control.

Psychological therapy is a pseudoscience.

I have a personal prohibition against watching any kind of anime or reading any kind of manga.

Developing advanced, eventually sentient AI or pursuing some kind of transhumanism is an incredibly stupid idea that can only end badly.

We need a more conformist society. Telling people that they are special is not only dishonest but immoral, especially when they are children.

Independent political parties in the US (meaning any that aren't Democrat or Republican) are a waste of time and an infantile fragmentation of our political system that will do nothing but promote the views of screaming radical malcontents. A two-party system is far superior for long-term stability.

Nope, you needed to trade to get every pokemon in gen 1. Both in that some pokemon were exclusive to a version (bellsprout and oddish for example) and there were 4 pokemon (Alakazam, Machamp, Gengar, and Golem) that were evolved by trading.

Woops, thought he said a game where having them all was possible.

I don't remember which game was the first to not have the original 150/1

I hate mayonnaise, why do restaurants and fast-food places that do chicken burgers insist on putting that shit on? It ruins the taste of the meat and it looks like someone spunked in my burger.

I don't think Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the worst movie of the series, surviving a nuclear blast by hiding in a lead-lined fridge is more believable than jumping out a plane with a liferaft to land safely.

Scripture classes shouldn't be mandatory in public schools (some schools they are in AUS), they should be opt-in only by the student's choice, and an alternative class could be offered with more practical advice (drug education, recognising scams/cults, lifeplanning, common sense, etc)

Feminism has become plagued with pseudo-academics who whine about trivial first-world non-problems with false statistics and unsubstantiated anecdotal claims (gender pay gap, rape culture, etc) in order to profit from charitable donations and achieve undeserved celebrity status, when real injustices occur against women in much of the third-world that they brush off as not as important as their causes or use as a signal boost for their own ideals.

Labradors are the worst breed of dog.

But you can't catch them all in a single game (i.e. Blue), you need to play/trade with Red as well. Same w/ Gold and Silver.

A utopian society is not only impossible, but an inherently dreadful concept and is far worse than the chaotic, imperfect world we live in now.
Hmm. May I hear your reasoning why it's a bad concept?

OT: Most of the criticisms against Man of Steel don't hold water when held up to any real scrutiny.

- I am putting aside my skepticism for the new Star Wars movies. JJ might not fuck this up
- the MOBA genre killed RTS
- Halo: Combat Evolved is a good shooter and will be remembered as one of the big game changing titles in all of gaming
- American Football is dangerous, and parents should reconsider letting their kids play.
- Korra is the worst protagonist I've seen in a long time.
- I still don't see what is so special about Felicia Day, and nobody can give me an answer.
- I don't like or understand shipping culture in fandoms, think it's overblown and dumb
- Dubs > subs for the .238% of anime I watch
- Captain America, and all heroes (from all fiction) like him are crap. Idealism wearing the skin of a man or woman. Makes me cringe.
- Steven Universe is overrated
- ME3 was a cautionary tale to developers who think they can write complicated game narratives. Also for PR people on how not to handle disappointed fans
- Twitter is fine. Just use the block features and follow what you want. If you don't like it, get off it.
- Steak is disgusting, along with most meat.
- I think a lot of comedy is bad, and don't really care for stand-up

Can't think of anything else.

* I find My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic bores me cross-eyed.

* Naruto is terrible manga with terrible people in general as protagonists.

* Harry Potter is very derivative and every character in it has the common sense of a moldy cabbage. Voldemort could only come back due to the collective neglect and stupidity of the Wizarding World and could be defeated handily by a bunch of muggle soldiers.

* Dan Brown is not only undeserving of the title of "scholar" in any respect but his books rely too much on the protagonists being ignorant of facts that they (according to their background) should be familiar with.

* Gridiron/American Football is a less demanding and exciting sport than just about any form of Rugby.

Why do you think so, if you don't mind me asking? Personally I think it was extremely derivative, and Druckmann is a hack who couldn't touch Hennig.

Dragon Age 2 trumps Origins in every way but story.
Bacon isn't that good.
All illicit drugs should be decriminalised.[footnote]Which is not the same as legalised.[/footnote]
Fedoras/Trilbies are cool depending on the person wearing them.
Nickleback sound good (though I don't own any music by them).
Five Night at Freddy's is total shit (though I really enjoy Game Theory's series on its lore, which is astounding if right).

Sure I have more, just can't think of any.
