Riley drew odd stares as he stepped into town, he had a bit of a reputation as a recluse. He walked over to a man reading the newspaper at a bus stop.

"You there, tell me, what's the Gic?"

The man looked up, startled, "Oh umm... the Gic? I don't know why?"

"They tried to kill me last night."

"You mean... the G.I.C. don't you?" The man stammered a bit, his goal for the day was to not get killed by a mutant, he thought fast, "They're an... organization, I think they're based in New York City."

"Oh..." Riley thought carefully for a moment, "What's the fastest way to New York?

The man laughed, "You must really not know what you're up against do you? Well since I'm guessing you don't have a car, it's about a two hour train ride." The man pointed to a train station a few blocks away, "They send a train every hour."

Riley nodded and walked towards the station. It was small consisting of only two platforms and a ticket booth. He walked to the ticket booth and bought a ticket to New York.

These G.I.C. people don't understand what they're dealing with. I doubt they've ever seen anyone like me, but soon enough they'll learn they never want to again.

Emily breathed in a sighed heavily. She hated days like this. Days where she would most likely be forced to use her powers to defend herself.

"Gotcha Nine. I'll see you when I see you."

Rising from the chair once more Emily quickly left her apartment, completely forgetting her jacket, and made her way down to the lobby. When she arrived at the lobby she saw GIC soldiers patrolling the street outside of the lobby doors.

Son of a... biscuit....

Emily ran hastily to the nearby emergency exit and opened it. Unfortunately for her the alarm for the emergency exit signaled and the soldiers outside immediately noticed.

"You've gotta be kidding me."

Soldiers ran from the street into the apartment building shouting and screaming, forcing all the bystanders onto the floor. Emily ignored all of this and ran through the door and down the adjoining alleyway.

Emily switched the channels on her ear bud and spoke to Brandon and James once more.

"I might arrive a little late to the meeting spot. I seem to have attracted some unwanted attention."

Tyler look at a ally way, seeing someone coming out. "hmmm alarms, chaos going about, soldiers hunting freaks like me...she could be a infected." He chuckles, wondering what her powers were. As he waits by the corner for her to come around.

If she isn't coming out of the ally way, then I'll just rework my post.

James reached a grate that led to the surface, after he got up it would only be a half mile ride to the relay point

Touching the ground, he raised a pillar that took him, his bike and the cargo to the surface

""I'm a half mile away guys" he radioed

He started peddling to the relay point

Erik was sitting on a plane, a straight flight to New York City, reading a book. He was pissed. Not because he was being relocated, again, on short notice, not that he still had to help move the Chicago outpost, and not because he had no idea why he was being forced to move again. It was the loudmouthed, barely out of high school GIC recruit sitting next to him that would not stop talking, to make worse, Erik had to pretend he agreed with him to keep from being discovered...........

......a few hours later........

.....Erik dropped the bloody nail into a garbage bin on his way off the plane, by the time they realized the man wasn't sleeping he would be long gone. Erik quickly made for the New York City outpost, a disguised apartment building a few blocks away. Erik was passed by several cop cars speeding off in same direction a GIC chopper was heading, he could tell the two where connected immediately. "Somewhere in this city, some one is having a LOT of fun." Erik muttered to himself, deciding at the last second to help whoever the Infected was by removing the brakes from the cop cars.

The soldiers seemed to be preoccupied sifting through the bystanders, trying to look for Emily. Looking back Emily smiled smugly. Knowing full well that she had escaped, and in almost no time.

What dumbas- Turning back around Emily bumped into an unknown man and fell onto the floor. It looked as though he had been waiting for her. She became instantly suspicious of the stranger.

GIC? Better be calm and act normal.

Emily lifted herself and dusted off. She looked at the man and gave him an unforgiving look.

"Watch were you're going you idiot."

Not waiting for his reply she continued to run towards the meeting point.

[small]I'm going to sleep now. You guys can control my character for the time being.[/small]

"This sucks" James thought as he weaved his way thought alleyways

A GIC roadblock had forced him to take these winding routes and the time was adding up, the longer it took, the more chance he risked detection

"At least I have more energy" he thought "Incase things go bad"

Sydney ran through the alley way chasing after the hooded man. After 4 blocks he had lost him in the darkness.

"Losing two people in one day. Bad form Sydney, bad form." Sydney than proceeded to the G.I.C. headquarter to rest for the night.

He chuckles as the woman call him a idiot when in face he was her who bump into him. Such silly people he thought as he starts to follow her. Keeping his distance so she wouldn't notice as much but close enough so he wouldn't lose her at all.

"Sir, GIC troops in Sector F4 have a possible infected on the run."

Eric nodded.

"Good. Remind them, shoot to kill."

He was still waiting for Delta to reappear.

"This is Alpha-Niner, we have a visual on an opened grate with bike tracks leading from it. He's somewhere in G2."

Eric grinned, revenge would be his.

"We're en route, he can run but he can't hide."

James stoped his bike and looked at the brick wall to the side of him.

"Better Safe than sorry" He thought

He touched the wall and fashioned two dozen nine inch spikes. He then placed them in his coat and continued towards the relay point.

"Somtimes I wish I wasen't third in command" he thought

On his way there he saw several G.I.C. transport vehicles racing down the streets with sirens wailing, he had checked his pager realizing he was never paged about any events and flagged down the next G.I.C. vehicle waving his badge at it till it stopped for him. He hoped into the A.P.C. transport geared for a raid. A familiar voice called out to him.

"Sydney." The leader of the A.P.C. vehicle said.

"Eric Davidson, good to see you."

Eric nodded at Sydney.

"I apologize for not keeping you up to date, but you know how I dislike your "always alive" rule."

He sighed.

"At this point, I need all the help I can get. I'm down an APC, a killteam with it, and we've got reports of infected everywhere. We're currently tracking the one known as "Delta", who is responsible for my losses, and he's transporting something."

"Any idea as to what that package he's carrying does, do we have any information on the infected there?" The more I know the less I'll have to worry about."

Eric shook his head.

"No clue on the package, and we only know his power. He seems to control everything. Luckily, it tires him out incredibly quickly, and he should be exhausted from our first encounter."

"Huh, power over everything. That's quite a challenge, makes sense to have an army for this I guess. Guess that package is quite something if it's in his hands. I could only imagine what he can do with that power"

Sydney sat there stoically wondering just how they'd be going about catching this one.

Off to bed for me, take control of him if need be, just don't have him kill anyone.

i never said the City i was in, but i was going to be in NYC so good form. Now i don't have to openly state it

Kyle walked through the busy side walks hardly paying any attention to the sirens or soldiers. For all they knew he was a regular civilian, hell a bum even. He walked through anxious and annoyed crowds. He walked on into the dark until he hit a door he recognized. He slowly pushed it open and walked into the musky bar.

" Lil 'Krieg!" Came the call from the bar tender, a retired Marine from the days when the Military spent its money and resources hunting down communists.
Kyle walked over to the bar and slumped down in a chair, "Hey Sarge" he said with a half assed salute. He took off his hood and looked about the Veterans bar. He never served, but an NCO in his father's old company had spotted him one day and lead him into the bar. He said the military take care of it's own, and since Kyle's father was a good man and soldier, they would take care of Kyle's needs. It was the NCO that gave him his nickname; 'Krieg. Apparently back during world war two their was an officer named Guderian that practically invented the Blitzkrieg tactic, and since Kyle hadn't taken his father's name, the soldiers just started referring to him as Lil 'Krieg. And it didn't really help that Kyle could drink like a fish, and fight better than the old Spec Ops guys. Kyle had been drinking in the bar for four years with out getting I.D.ed, he was practically part of the family. It was a shame that so many of the guy's where brainwashed with the anti-Mutant propaganda, this was the first place Kyle ever felt like he belonged.

To bad he had to keep his powers hidden away to gain that acceptance.

"Let me get a Black'n'Tan" Kyle said slapping down his prize money.
"You know your money's no good here Kyle." Sarge said pushing the bill back-towards Kyle, "Not after your Dad died, and especially not after your mom died in that explosion. No way, your drinks and board are all ways on us." Kyle gave a half assed smile.

"If it's all on you guys, then can i call tomorrow morning off? I mean you military men should be able to clean the bar by yourself"

"Nice try Lil 'Krieg, but if you keep refusing to enlist then i'm going to have to keep giving you your Basic and PT every morning as long as you live here."

"Thats just a nice way of saying get the fuck out" Kyle jested after a long sip of his beer.
