I agree. Meruru could easily solo both of them. They would lose, badly.
You gather stuff, beat up monsters, and have interactions with NPCs. You know, like most western RPGs.What, exactly is the gameplay of these games?

The gameplay, even if it were fantastic, is probably completely divorced from the story anyway, whether it's turn-monster-stick-bashing or some kind of shop simulator. But I just can't fathom what the driving conflict could possibly be!

Main plot :
King : Meruru this is a kingdom with 500 inhabitants, if you want to prove that alchemy is useful, go use it to improve the country and make sure it has 30 000 people in 3 years.
Rufus : Princess, I have designed super genius plans for every problem in the kingdom, just do those and you'll earn developement points to build stuff in the country. Now for tutorial's sake, your first mission is to go deliver some pie to soldiers stationed outside the city.

Except for the pies.Seneschal said:Bindal said:I'm more curious as to what the main plot is. I was hoping for a FMA reference there, too.Xpheyel said:Like if Totori was trying to resurrect her mom, Full Metal Alchemist style?Jakale said:Did anyone else half expect some alchemy gone wrong monster to ooze out of the vat?
That would rule.
See, the second part right there doesn't apply to reactions on molecular level or smaller. Depending on various factors, mass can be partially transformed into large amounts of energy, and vice versa.Ulquiorra4sama said:The Law of Conservation of Mass, which states that energy and matter can neither be created from nothing nor destroyed to the point of elemental nonexistence.
In other words, to create an object weighing one kilogram, at least one kilogram of material is necessary and destroying an object weighing one kilogram would reduce it to a set of parts, the sum of which would weigh one kilogram.
A combination of childish Xbox Live level insults, jumping into ridiculous conclusions and hypocritical, exaggerated generalizing.zefiris said:Gotta love all the guys crying over a game like this. So insecure in their manlyness.
Plenty happens in the games, actually. If it's not your cup of tea, and you're butthurt that female characters get to do something, why play it? Just play your sameface steroid-abusing soldiers grunting together in some generic battlefield or something.
I was going to say "Holy crap that was sexist", but you're right. I shouldn't take offense. I should simply enjoy the stupidity.Norrdicus said:A combination of childish Xbox Live level insults, jumping into ridiculous conclusions and hypocritical, exaggerated generalizing.zefiris said:Gotta love all the guys crying over a game like this. It's not often that I see it all jumbled into one post, it's a rare treat
I've played similar games before, do they still make grenades out of fruit? I think it was called the Uni bomb (just in case I'm not using the right word I'll describe it. A bomb made out of a spiky fruit named after the sea urchin).zefiris said:I agree. Meruru could easily solo both of them. They would lose, badly.
