They're making fun of the whole hand plot device from the MGS series.

Am I the only one here who thinks MGS at least qualifies as decent pulp military sci-fi? I actually enjoy the storyline, though the first is the best, as it lacks all of the hand-ressurection, vampire silliness of the others.

Great episode, as always. I really loved the "So Dante is invulnerable, but unlike Wolverine, he's not a crybaby about it." Also, keep putting gameplay segments in! The jumping scene was hilarious.
