Wow. I didn't expect this to be the next game on the list.

I initially though you guys had already done it but then I realised I was confusing it with the Zero Punctuation review. :p

To be honest, the beginning was a little meh, but around the time the dragon showed up it went straight up to being really funny. Overall good episode!

No matter how big a sword you had, it just wouldn't tip, the scales
Boooooo!! Jk, that wasn't bad.

And I gotta agree with Paul and Grahm. There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING that can go toe to toe with a dragon. It's suicide to even try.

EDIT: Captcha says IRREGULAR ovistion. Quick, there's not much time!! We have to get this ovistion stablized right now!

OT: "[The smaller fishes] just Beach themselves becuase they are so afraid of those other guys."

That cinematic was a complete ripoff of Peter Jackson's King Kong, and the Disney Dinosaur movie. still funny.

I can think of two jobs for cats. Cat's eyes, of course. And pencil sharpeners. I think Monster Hunter Tri would have been a better game if you played as the dragon. Kind of like God Hand with the ability to breathe fire.
Well look, if I WAS going to play a monster, I wouldn't want to be one of the small wimpy ones like the Rathalos (the fire breathing flyer shown), I'd want to be one of the larger or more dangerous ones. Or both. OK, Chamelios. You're twice the size of Rathalos, have blending powers, breath poisonous gas, and your scales can deflect fire and electricity. I'd want to play that if they would led me and the really big stuff wasn't available.

How big do monsters get in this game? To quote me one time on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 'Wow, this monsters big enough to shake a mountain....wait a minute, it IS the mountain!" Yeah, where Lao-Shan the big guy goes, the canyon is flat at the top, no it becomes hilly. When he stands he is taller than the fortress specifically built to fight him. So yeah, after seeing all that, the things that Graham and Paul were saying the PCs had no chance against is laughable. I've solo killed Rathios, I need a team of three experts to help take down Shan Goran with the use of four giant drills and balista. Hell, here is his intro video, he is that badass.

"Yeah well my guy breathes fire at your guy."
"Well mine breathes lightning back at your guy."

Seriously how did you guys not notice that thing breathing lightning?

There is so much wrong in that trailer is hilarious!
I'm curious, what was wrong with it exactly?
They were pointed out by Paul and Graham but the people fishing and swimming in the water and not apparently concerned about the huge carnivorous monsters everywhere that could easiyl get into their (I assume) unprotected village. The butt chaps on that guy. The cats farming with hilariously Asian faces XD

The dragon shouldnt be to much of a problem. Knowing JRPGs it will wait to attack until everyone in your party hits it first. ALRIGHT WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO FIGHT THIS DRAGON!

Nice video, lots of good comments here.

Though if I lived in a world full of giant monsters, I'd probably never want to leave home either..

I object to that last statement. Cats are very good at bootlegging.

I think we could also go with a mostly cat band.

We need somebody else to be the singer though.

I really wish that there was a part 2 to this. It was just so ridiculous and the comments so hilarious that I want more.

The intro sequence would have had me scared to death to leave my house, but only if my house was a bomb-proof bunker with 2 foot concrete walls. Otherwise it wouldn't matter if I was in my house or not, I would still be screwed.
Sadly (or perhaps it's a good thing) this game sneaks away with as few cut scenes as possible, so no chance of a part 2, but I agree. The only other cut scenes left all last less than a minute each, and are usually just there to introduce new areas or bosses.
There are several decent cutscenes I could see them working with from this game. There's the one where the Felyne is walking down a road and gets caught in a territorial dispute between two Uragaan. Another one where the Qurupeco has to contend with Jaggi while it tries to fish, and my personal favorite, the Great Jaggi getting co-cocked by a Barroth. That one almost begs for commentary.

*wistful sigh* This episode of Unskippable just reminds me to buy myself another copy of the game. I really loved it, and I want to return to it someday. It'd be nice if they'd release that MMO version for the PC here in the states, but everything I've read says they have no plans to. Boooo.

"It's all fun and games until someone is a dragon." Words to live by. But not for very long. Unless you're the dragon, of course.

As Scott Adams has shown many times, cats make great HR professionals.

Haha yeah it so true that the human would not stand a chance against any of the creatures in the game. It's a shame you didn't do a unskippable on the Jhen Mohran cutscene.
