you know, I've never heard a song by them I can say I remember was by them (though thats alot of bands) but I own six T-shirts with their logos or album covers on them.
Of course... I got those for next to nothing when I went to a Salvation Army store...
Overall, their shirts keep me warm, and thats about the extent of what Iron Maiden has done for me on a personal level.
I haven't listened to The Final Frontier enough times, right now the only song that caught on to me right away was The Alchemist.A velociraptor said:If you have to ask, you're in the wrong place.
So, a while back, I was cruising through a "favorite concert" thread and noticed that there are a TON of Maiden fans on here. I want to make a thread dedicated to everyones favorite group of Albatross Salesmen.
What's your top album? Have you seen them? When? Where? Got a favorite memory? What do you think of the Final Frontier? Just need to say how much you love Maiden? This is the place. And always, up the Irons!
Nope, I was coming here in expectation of the same thing, and kinda hoping to read some amusing comments about their current form, or lack thereofmessy said:I can't be the only one thinking that this was a West Ham United supporters forum can I?

I find that amusing somehow.
You know, I really like A Matter of Life and Death, even though a lot of people I'll talk to say it's one of their weakest albums. But that's the best thing about opinions, no matter what anyone else thinks, Iron Maiden still kicks ass.TheRightToArmBears said:My favourite Maiden album is probably Iron Maiden, which even the band themselves don't seem too keen on. However, it is the only Iron Maiden album that I adore every single track on.
That was actually where I picked up my first and only Maiden tee. Gotta love the Salvation Army.emeraldrafael said:...but I own six T-shirts with their logos or album covers on them.

Getting those two back was probably one of the happiest things I've ever known to happen to a band, aside from Nirvana dissolving. Adrian's guitar work is nothing short of spectacular. A song that it just "meh" from him is still way better than most of what any other band is churning out these days.spookydom said:...Bought A Brave new world becouse Aidrian and Bruce came back.
Yeah, I like the work they do for the underprevilleged. besides, its an awesome way to get cool stuff at a low price you only see at places like Goodwill. I found so much good stuff I still enjoy shopping at the Sarmy.A velociraptor said:Snip
Yes... That's what I thought.emeraldrafael said:Probably cause its meant to be.DoomCaek said:Hahaha
