You're right, that was rash of me. I posit that the video isn't "definitely" anything, but I suppose I'd prefer to believe it's a fake because it makes the video a stroke of genius rather than a simple, every-day tragedy.

Also, if you really have that many fruit flies, I suggest you clean up, you scruffy bastard. My ultimate weapon of choice: take some of that good wine, pour the fruit flies half a glass or so. Fill up with water. Add a dash of liquid soap, to break the surface tension, so drinking flies will drown. Drowned fruit flies will not be able to use their lasers anymore, as they are dead.

Beware of fruit flies that can breathe underwater.

How the hell could this be marketing for Deus Ex? As someone else said, prior to HR, there was the Sarif Site, those live action augmentation comercials and other stuff, and they were all very well done.

This just doesn't tie in with that at all.

I do hope however that we get some more Deus Ex content soon. I know it is extemely unlikely, but even so...

Honestly, look at any of his "Hobo Steve" videos. It sounds like he's doing the exact same schtick as he did in that series, just using a different subject.
