Do you mean Persona 1 or Persona 3: Portable?Judgement101 said:Persona 4 Portable I hope
EDIT: I saw PP (Persona Portable) today at a gamestop used but I decided against getting it due to that bad stuff I have heard about it
I see your point. However, P4 references:aether-x3 said:Im pretty sure its been confirmed as Persona 5. ;u Well thats what I gathered from Tumblr.
Persona 4 Portable seems unlikly since im pretty sure they are working on a Persona 2: Innocent Sin remake for the PSP o.o
Use Mitsuru and watch her Marin Karin the enemy when your party is in critical condition.DJDarque said:Hm. The ability to play as a different protagonist may be fun after I've played through once. Also, while I would prefer the combat style in P3P, I haven't found the regular style to be that bad so far. It sounds like something I might pick up later, but I'm happy with FES at this point. Plus the cutscene change sounds like a major downgrade.mireko said:P3P had some expanded social links (I think, it might just be more character portraits) and the option to play as a female protagonist (which changes a lot of the social links).DJDarque said:I'm kinda new to the whole Persona series. I just picked up Persona 3 FES like a week ago for dirt cheap to give it a shot. I'm liking it so far. Was P3P superior in some way to FES though? Either way, I hope this is a PSP port just to give me a reason to dust that thing off and use it again.
It also had P4-style combat, in that you can assign all your teammates to "direct command" and control them like in a normal RPG.
That does not mean it has all the features of FES and more, however. The Answer (extra chapter after the end of the main story) isn't included, the cutscenes are cut (specifically, everything in the cutscenes is redone in the same format as all the in-game conversations) and you don't navigate in the same way (there's a layout, you hover things, I don't really feel like explaining it).
You'll be happy with either version, but playing as the female protagonist is pretty interesting, and the combat is made somewhat easier (although there are additional difficulty settings).
Thank you for the info.
I think it's P4P as well, but I can understand why people would think it's P5. Persona doesn't really have something specific to the series (for example, showing a chocobo in a commercial would show everyone that it's a Final Fantasy commercial) so the best thing to use would be objects from the last game in the series.mireko said:I see your point. P5 would be awesome, sure, but unless it uses those elements of P4 I don't see it being involved. If you have more info, please share
