Me? I find the whole thing just damn amusing. Man causes trouble, man messes with wong people, man gets comeupance. I see no problem with this. I didn't have to shout or rage or even verbally assault someone. Banner day.

I can't recall the second instance, but the first (I think) warning that Dagger received along this thread is because he mentioned in a post that he had pirated games in the past. Even mentioning something like that in passing is a big no-no around these parts.
Edit: Dagger's second warning appears to be a misunderstanding. The first line of the post ("You have a loudmouth braggart idiot.") was probably misconstrued as an attack on the person he quoted, when he seems to be talking about Christoforo. It seems likely that one will be appealed and removed.

It looks a little like a conspiracy considering that others have free reign on this forum trying to track personal details about Christoforo, but I think this is just coincidence.
But The Escapist didn't put this story on the front page with several updates by mistake. They have a responsibility and is also a part in this mess.
Yeah pal, the whole world started bullying you after you (repeatedly) bullied your PAYING CUSTOMERS, whether or not they actually got the products they paid for. You got a taste of your own medicine, and didn't like the flavor. You reap what you sow.
The only innocent in this is his kid. People threatening his child need to be strung up by the ankles. The company deserves some flak (though not nearly what they're getting) for hiring the ****, even knowing what he's like (edit: apparently there are some potential shady dealings behind the scenes there as well - http://www.examiner.com/video-game-industry-in-national/ocean-marketing-gaming-pr-rep-to-avoid-at-all-cost Check #14 on. The plot thickens). Guilty by association is a thing. But his kid has nothing to do with this.
Edit: After re-reading the interview for about the 5th time it's painfully clear that he has no remorse whatsoever about what he did, only that he was caught doing it. He specifically says:
"I didn't know who that guy at Penny Arcade was," he admitted. "If I had known, I would have treated the situation a little better. "
Rough English translation: "If I had known how much pull Mike actually had, I would have let things along there because I'll kiss up to anyone in power while treating normal people like shit."
This guy is unbelievable. Still after all of this, he refuses to just take the responsibility for this. He blames Penny arcade for turning it viral. He blames others for reacting to it. He blames outside forces for him having a bad day. This isnt just a bad day. This was over 2 week period. On top of that others in the video game and marketing industry have come out and said that this has been his behavior in the past as well.
The fact that he feels that he shouldnt have talked to Mike from penny arcade that way just because of who he is pretty much sums up the scumbag. He's pretty much admitting there that he only made a mistake because of who he talked to. He is only sorry because he got caught. He even impersonated another marketing rep to a news site trying to show support for himself. He just doesnt know how to not dig the hole deeper.
ITS ALL HIS FAULT that this has happened.
The most priceless thing is the lesson he learned:

Wow try just being a human being instead of ruling out talking to people about problems. The funny thing is that this guy responds here to try and show people that he has remorse and all he does with his comments are show people how truly shallow and selfish he is.
What a joke. If this guy isnt lying about "other accounts" that havent cancelled (which lets be serious he's lied about most everything else this week) I hope they see his side of the story here and see how transparent he is. I'll be boycotting any products this guy is tied to.

I'm...I'm okay with this. Wouldn't you be happy to see the internet ganging up on this sorry piece of shit if you were in Mike's position? You can't reasonably expect him to tell the internet to cool it; Mike is not the internet and does not control the web's denizens. Paul brought this *all* on himself.
Actually he only changed it 2 time. OceanMarketting was the original (was taken over by an Indie game promoter), then OceanStratagy (taken over by a troll) and now OceanDeepSea. All other are pure troll creation.

Huh. Sounds like he has some really big past issues with bullies, or he is also a horrible person. Surely being such a big name on the Internet he knows how destructive its mobs can be? "Yes. Yes... Let's annihilate this man's life, his family's life, and the company he represented all because of terrible customer serivce! Yesssss hissss..." Maybe he didn't expect the damage to leak outside of the intended target? Well, it's happening whether or not that was the intention. I'm sure the company and proper authorities have punished him enough. What the Internet is doing is overkill.
