I have said it before and I will say it again. Unless you are Pixar's Cars, the majority of money you make come from the first few weeks of viewings. The amount of money you are gonna lose after that is next to irrelevant. Think about it. The Dark Knight got pirated I don't know how many times and it still managed to make over 1 billion.

If you want people to stop pirating films, drop the prices in cinemas and stop giving green light to every piece of crap film that knocks your door! But nope, instead, we have to pay from 9 to 13 euros to sit through stuff like this:

When you start putting quantity above quality, people will filter your movies and decide which one is worth their time. Don't pretend that all you want to do is look after your job. After comments like these (which kind of remind me threats for protection money in ghettos), we know that all you wanna do is keep your chair warm. You are the chief of movie publishing, in a sense. Bribery? It's the day-to-day workings of a corrupt corporate-government symbiosis, and he is, unfortunately, above the law. Why single him out when this happens every damn day in Washington?

It's the only outlet of frustration available. Not the most effective though and unfortunately we cannot vote him out of a company.

So lemme get this straight.. the folks who signed this petition think that somebody.. anybody.. donates to a political cause without having some sort of political cause (aka policy goal) in mind, and Dodd is thus somehow immoral and wrong for saying so?
