I have an idea, why don't they make the different versions of pokemon games a different maturity level? That way kids can enjoy the regular game and older people can play the games without feeling like a mongoloid. Bonus, maybe the mature version can have fatality competitions instead of musicals, lol.

Of course this will probably never happen, Nintendo wants all the kiddies to be able to collect them all, after all. Maybe I'll just hold my breath for a new Monster Rancher that's a bit more mature.

As if the new pokemon weren't already shit enough. Generation 2 onwards the designes really started to go downhill.

Generation 1 had the least creative Pokemon.

Thank you! When people talk about the first generation I like to remind them of Mankey, a monkey with a pig's nose, and Ekans, who is just a snake named "snake" backwards! Generation 2 was actually the best IMO, a low concentration of freaks compared to others, with the exception of dunsparce as someone else mentioned. 3 and 4 had a lot of freaks, and Bidoof is a pretty good cornerstone of the argument that Gen 4 was no better than 3, but they both had some cool ones, ie Metagross or Lucario. Problem is, I don't like any of the Gen 5 Pokemon I've seen yet with the exception of the two new legendaries.

amazingly, I had came to the site to see if they had heard of the trailer yet, and BOOM here it is, though to be honest the fact that they had shown LUVDISC's evolution first instead of say, a new Eeveelution isn't a good sign

it is probably getting hard to keep making Eeceelutions (but they are probably going to anyway), i think Dragion (dragon eevee) and bugion (bug eevee) would be pretty annoying to animate.

actually a dragon eeveelution would be pretty badass(like a mix between eevee and dratini), though I wish that It would be able to evolve via moon stone into another normal type

You think Luvdisc is the dumbest Pokemon ever? One word: Dunsparce. No, I mean seriously. What is it? Why does it exist? It does not evolve, has no stats to speak of, is NOT based on an animal (ok, it is, but it still looks alien to me). Why Game Freak? Why do you assault my eyes with that abomination?

DiD I see a female Pokemon Professor, as far as the new team (insert name here) they seem to be based off of medieval knights (Team Camelot?), Luvdisc gets an evolution (Why not a pokemon I actually give a crap about, like Heracross), and Triple battles. Looking forward to it

Looks like a lot of fun. I never went for the contests (or musicals or whatever) myself but the more streamlined battle system looks good to me.

Dude, we already capture them and take them away from their Pokefamilies to fight for our political objectives. I think letting them dress up is a little less evil. Besides, there is very little law in Pokeland anyway. I seem to recall only seeing about 5 police officers in the entire series...

Is u=it just ne or does team plasma seem to be a mixture of assassins,Team Magma,Aqua and Galactic, wow that's pretty much every bad guy in pokémon aside from team rocket(unless assassin's were just team rocket in desguise)

P.S. Can someone tell me why team rocket was named that, I mean unlike anyone else their name doesn't fit, They didn't use rockets or missiles of any kind and you fought them more underground instead of say, a space station(unless you count silph .co)

This is a world where it's A-Okay to go out, shove innocent creatures into extra-dimensional spheres and force them into massive fighting tournaments for your enjoyment. Frankly, I'm amazed it didn't take longer for them to come up with the idea of forcing them to dress up and dance for your amusement.

true but the anime was released in america a year after the games japanese release
