step 1 - Gmail, Facebook, youtube. These are always open.
step 2 - Cycle through Escapist, Spill, Slashfilm, Gamespot, IGN, Gametrailers and Roger Ebert's blog for new stuff.
Step 3 - Browse.

Open browser? Um mine is usually already open... I leave my machine running weeks at a time (it goes into powersave mode when not in use). So the once every few months that I have to reopen a webroswer I just use chrome's last closed thing to reopen the 5-12 tabs I had open when last closed chrome and/or shutdown my machine.

I always let Firefox save the tabs from my last session.
Well, I normally type in the escapist though, since I normally close that tab before closing ff.

Newage3.com, worsepreviews.com, the news vault, the escapist, youtube.com, facebook, surfthechannel, the superficial. A few others bookmarked I frequent (newgrounds, GR, anime, webcomics)

I immediately hit two more tabs. Each one goes to my homepage, BBC News.
The first I hit to Facebook.
The second I hit to my personal email.
The third I let stay on BBC News.
