Dude, 35 to 75%. Most drugs aren't subject to quite such an obscene markup as Ozempic, even in the US. And the US cannot negotiate on Ozempic.
I've already told you: a government healthcare system (the NHS) gets this drug for less than 8% of what it costs to Americans.
So what's the cause of the massively inflated price of Ozempic in the US...? The for-profit healthcare system, and the inability of federal entities to negotiate. Those account for over 92% of the cost. It's not inherent to the drug, buddy, you're getting shafted by the profiteering system.
