You're not just right, you're so obviously right that I just can't grasp how anyone could not understand this. I can sorta get certain white people supporting the GOP, a bit, but the people they run around targeting? Very strange.
To be fair, I think that battle is yet to be won. Who's going to win - the Ramaswamites or Fuentites?
Neither Amy Acton is ahead in the polls, and I suspect she will edge Vivek out. But I think Fuentites will win in the long run, underemployment, and unemployment is high among US citizen tech workers right now due to a wide variety of reasons, with outsourcing, offshoring, and H1Bs. Vivek is seen as wanting more H1Bs.
I'm surprised nobody brought this up sooner. Epstein the files unredacted for some of the victims. This administration can't even cover up crap right. Good.

Who knew that firing everyone who had even a modicum of competence and replacing them with rabid zealots with no brains and less expertise could mean that mistakes happen?
The tragic thing is that in most cases they don't even need to. The Republican base laps it up and independents are endlessly forgiving for Trump's misdeeds. That they only now seem to draw any sort of line is actually kinda random.
I wouldn't go that far, since it's somewhat kicking their teeth in, and all the other bullshit this administration they attempted to pull off or pulled off are biting them in the groin. Not to mention, even his own psychotic base are either seeing the cracks fall, or are just turning on each other.

I think you're slightly missing the juxtaposition: not Ramaswamy and Fuentes as candidates, but whether the Republican Party accepts diversity or sinks further into white, Christian nationalism.
Then you might consider it not Fuentes vs Ramaswamy, but rather Fuentes vs Ramaswamy, Haley, Cruz, DeSantis, Rubio, Scott...

This was a good strike; no one died, and it sends a message to Maduro that this regime's actions have consequences. But the president just had to put the lives of many people who did or helped in this strike at risk. Now if we used an MQ-9 Reaper, we should have... taken or quietly told every US citizen to get out of Venezuela first.

That is a pretty low bar for a good attack on another country.
