As bad as most of his movies are (at least, the ones I've seen), it's funny how most of the comments here are negative, even without having played the game.

Here's an idea - when you actually play the game and play it without the baggage of hating Uwe Boll, come back and give us an opinion. Preferably with fact.

That said, if a demo comes out I'll play. And if I like it I'll buy - regardless of who made it.

A horse's anus produces shit. This is a fact. Should I check every few hours with no preconceptions to see if this has changed?
Why should it be any different with Uwe Boll. Everything he produces is shit, why would this be any different?

Because unlike an anus, humans are generally dynamic enough to be able to change, whether for better or for worse. Excreting bodily waste, an anus is fitted perfectly for that function. People are a little more diverse than that. People aren't motivated by hearing that their creations are the scum of the earth, but rather by constructive criticism, and people generally respond positively if they are challenged, and not crammed, by an overwhelming public, into a creative rut just because nobody trusts them. Flaming him certainly hasn't encouraged him positively.

I'm not saying his movies are good, but, hell, a lot of treasured directors have had some unlucky breaks in terms of direction. Boll could use a few lucky ones.

I mean, yes - Uwe Boll's movies have largely been terrible and I'm not saying that this game will not also be terrible - but as much as I'm happy to say "Fuck me, he's making another movie?" I'm also happy to see that he's making a game, which is a new thing to him, and he might do well at this. If he doesn't do well, then so be it.

All I'm saying is that assuming it's going to be shit without actually, oh, PLAYING IT, is just stupid. People make the same assumptions about Fallout 3, Half-Life, iPhones, Metal Gear Solid games et al without actually playing them. It's irrational, uneducated hated without basis. At least play the gorram game before you pass judgement.

Pure, pure genius, Dr. Boll.

The best thing about him however, is how he challenges any detractor of his work to a boxing match. I just wish he would stop already.

... I died a little inside just listening to this.

But let me try the demo while surpressing the temptation to point out the 'sucky parts' of the game and see how it actually manages.
