i agree, both sides are just blowing steam (no pun intended)VitalSigns said:How about a "hey guys its just a game" group.
The only group these crazies need is a Therapy group "Roaring applause and laughter"
no real use for either one

Haha, this is too funny. Both groups are stupid, in my opinion.Malygris said:Valve fans worried that the Left 4 Dead 2 Boycott group might hurt Gabe Newell's feelings...
Amen, brother. I'm going to play it and I'm probably going to love it, but... I can't help but be disturbed by Valve's recent behavior. This just isn't like them. Valve does not pump out sequels like this.Xanadu84 said:This. I think most reasonable people who arn't flaming valve or flaming the people flaming valve feel this way. The move is questionable, it isn't entirely fair to the fan base, and I think it would have been better as a paid expansion pack, but Valve has a lot of goodwill on there side, and any criticism you could come up with is a criticism of there marketing strategy, not there game design skills. Basically, Id like to say, "Valve, you have my blessing, but you better dazzle me".ZeroMachine said:Should I make a "I'm a bit weirded out by Valve's move, think it's a bit unlike them, and worried things may go wrong, but will still keep faith in them and buy the game anyways since it will be as good if not better than the original Left 4 Dead" group? Cause that's what I feel.
IABWOBVMTIABUTAWTMGWBWSKFITABTGASIWBAGINBTTOL4D probably wouldn't fit in the "group name here" part, though...
Oh who am I kidding, Id buy anything Valve made.
Hell I just did.Xocrates said:I'm really, really, really tempted to join that.ZeroMachine said:http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TISAGAME
It is done! The group is made, and it actually FIT!
I'm not going to actually moderate it much. It's just meant as a joke. Still, guys, join it if you agree.
As a person who's worked a few customer service jobs, I can tell you that 350 positive to 32,000 negative is roughly even. As the saying goes, "No news is good news". Basically, when people are happy, they usually don't feel as inclined to say anything. After-all they're happy and content, so they just go about their day. It's the people who feel they've been ripped-off or wronged in some way that make it a point to say something about it.Malygris said:With membership currently around 350, the enthusiasts have a long way to go to catch up to the boycott group
Follow Ollie596's lead and join both.ZeroMachine said:Should I make a "I'm a bit weirded out by Valve's move, think it's a bit unlike them, and worried things may go wrong, but will still keep faith in them and buy the game anyways since it will be as good if not better than the original Left 4 Dead" group? Wouldn't Left 4 Dead be more fitting..?AboveUp said:I say the two groups should fight it out in a good Team Fortress 2 match.
They're too busy arguing over that game to actually play it.Zayren said:Wouldn't Left 4 Dead be more fitting..?AboveUp said:I say the two groups should fight it out in a good Team Fortress 2 match.
