Personally, I'd like to see this 'wicked Witch bride', wonder what that'll be like. Maybe her fiancee dumped her when she became a zombie? Certainly would explain the crying.

Still curious about the Witch Bride and Game modes, however.

I just got this game for my new Laptop that i got yesterday when is this DLC coming out

I'm still upset because of original game's obsolescence. Because of that i didn't get around to buying L4D2 and don't really care about whatever stuff they're adding to it.

Which kind of makes this comment unnessecary, but i just wanted to say: if they'd allow integration of original L4D into the second one if you have both or something like that, i'd buy the second one.

They are planning to release DLC for L4D1 that leads into this DLC.

If i remember correctly, all the left 4 dead 1 survivors were immune to the virus so they wont be seen zombified

I don't think mixing up the cast from L4D1 with the guys from L4D2 is a good idea. It would just be weird, and cheap too. I just have a bad feeling about it...

Mmmm, yes and no. One of the new game modes, as I've heard it told, might be the two teams competing against each other, with the original team as zombies.

IF this happens, it's probably to be taken as non-canon.

It will probably be non-cannon if it is a game type. I was thinking in the campaign that way it keeps the story consistent.

Here. These guys might interest you then: L4DonL4D2 Steam Group [http://steamcommunity.com/groups/l4donl4d2]. They do ported L4D1 campaigns for L4D2, including the original characters, if I remember correctly. I'd say they'll be getting a nice upgrade once The Passing comes out as well.

The virus could have mutated. If a single zombie was carrying a new strain then it could likely infect a survivor without anyone realising until it was waay too late.

He's the only one from the first game I didn't like and the only one I wouldn't be angry about. Honestly though killing a survivor is just wrong. I'm surprised more L4D1 fans aren't up in arms about it. After the whole L4D2 controversy, this must feel like a kick in the teeth.

Never really liked Left 4 Dead myself. It's just killing zombies while running from A to B...With no effort at a story. I'll take a REALLY BAD story over no story, anyday.

That, and zombies bore me to death.

L4D does indeed have a backstory you just need to look further than dialogue. The writing on the saferoom walls, subtle hints from houses, even the locations you're in provide enough for you to figure out the story. YOU are the survivor, you aren't meant to know more than anyone else, but you can figure things out from otherwise missable clues.
