Not only does this look like a great update, it probably means a weekend sale of the game. Which, in turn, means I can finally get my hands on the superior PC version.

If its like the Soldier/Demoman WAR! update, there will also be a free weekend!

I liked the Bomberman gag from the beginning of the comic. Got bored when it went to Starcraft. Went to the end of the comic, meh. Then again, I'm one of the few people who believe that the Pyro wasn't seriously nerfed, which the creator obviously believes. I saw funny moments, but not enough to warrent a following from me.

-20% damage and half the afterburn duration for situational airblast kills is a huge nerf, but whatever. I loved Cuanta vida because it went way beyond the characters in the game, and had a really strong story with decent characters. A bit like The Last Days of Foxhound [http://gigaville.com/comic.php?id=1] actually, which I thought had way better characterisation than the game ever did. I suppose it's easier if the characters are more blank.

This is also the update I'm most curious about, as the Engineer pretty much has the biggest impact on the game of all classes. Tweaking him must be horribly difficult and I'm very curious for what they'll come up with.

How did I express in any way fanboyism? I haven't played any other valve game... ever.
I also seldomly play TF2, but when I do, I love the friggin' game, its constant changes are part of what makes me love it even more, they don't let you get tired of it (no "bah... its the same as the last year").

Yes, except that updates and actual changes to the way the game works isn't the same thing. And I still fail to see how feeling this way makes me a "Obvious troll".

While I don't agree with the Obvious troll comment, I must say that your first comment reads somewhat naively. If they were to leave the game alone, it would stagnate. Not to overcomplicate things but I actually like the diversity that Valve is putting into their games for free.

I like what I see from the characters...but the tendency towards gay smacks of obvious fanfic/shipping. Sniper & Spy I was okay with, but once Scout was outed I just put on my e_e faic. Kinda wish the artist had incorporated a little more of the original character stylings as well. The faces are alright, but everybody is the same height and build. Just seems like lazy art to me. (That being said, the story's pretty fantastic. Definitely adding to my list of usuals, thanks for the tip!)
