20 bucks says he gets a welder as the P.D.Q. [http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Pdq].
Also: "Hell, it's about time!"

They should also add a 'Vanilla gamemode' where you still get items periodically, but can't use them.

Honestly I think the PDQ sounds 'meh'. Unless one of the buildings is getting something that is so sweet at level 1 that you would want to deploy it every two minutes.

No offense but......Can't Valve just leave the game alone instead of constantly changing how it works?
Obvious troll is obvious.
I don't agree with valve's policies and thus that automatically makes me a troll?

Well, I guess I could as well respond by reminding everybody that a "Obvious fanboy is Obvious".
It's an online game, they have to add new updates to it or else it'll be boring.
Yes, except that updates and actual changes to the way the game works isn't the same thing. And I still fail to see how feeling this way makes me a "Obvious troll".
But...they've never actually changed how the game works. The maps are varied yes, but they mostly all follow the capture point, ctf and escort/cart modes with an attacking/defending team depending on the map. The optional weapons are just that, optional, they aren't -better- than the regular weapons, just alternatives and thus provide a different playstyle. You can be just as good a player if you don't have any unlocks than if you do. As for the hats and decorative unlocks...don't know -why- exactly, but some people seem to even have a problem with those.

There are tweaks and patches aplenty of course. But the fundamental game is the same as it was at the start, the only difference is they've kept working on it to make sure it doesn't become stale. As gamers we should be thankful there are companies who take such an interest in their product, many seem content to just get the thing launched, shore up some servers and leave it at that. They've got their pretty penny why bother with more work?

He already had an update! [http://174.34.185.196/]

Fix now, Valve*!

*Seriously, if you can't tell I'm joking, you got issues.
that (fake) update was awesome. I really hope they take inspiration from it/ copy it mercilessly.

also, can anyone read that poster to the left of the engineers head?

How about a teleporter that'll take a Medic+[insert class here] at the same time? Either that or kick-ass Power Armour for the Engy, but he'd move as slow as the Heavy but could act as a portable Dispenser?
Wow, that's actually quite a cool idea. Mobile dispensers are a good thought at any rate.
Wow. Thank you. I get a decent idea once in a blue moon.
Happens to the best of us. :p

Silly Valve, sold TF2 for 25$ and then keeps providing free content updates. They should've taken a page from Koticks playbook and sold it for 50$ and class updates for 5$ each.

Looks like we can see what one of the new weapons is going to be in the Mac Update video. I don't know about you, but the weapon that Red Engie's carrying doesn't look like his regular shotgun. Link: http://www.teamfortress.com/macupdate/
