Michael thought.

"I don't trust you, but I will come with you. It's not as though we have any better options."

He grabbed the leader's hand and hoisted himself up into the vehicle. He looked at the others. The others hesitantly joined him, looking as intimidating as they felt they could without looking silly.

Michael said to the man in the red and white helmet, "Do not cross us. I'm not so sadistic as to enjoy doing what we did to the other humans, but we are by no means hesitant to do it again if we must."

The man nodded when every one got on the vehicle drove away, they drove toward a large building. they carefully escorted them in because the sun was rising, when they got in they were led to a white room with a man in a whitecoa.
"excellent, now tou prboably want information like Why you were put in that tunnel, oh yes it was for containment but Why well I could tell you but, you must do something for me first, there is a vault numbered 666 go to the town of morten a few miles away to gain better info about it, this vault holds technolgy I need. Here this will help".
the man handed him a flat square the size of an Ipod made of green metal with a black screen taking the whole side of the square,
"that is a gps map keep this on you,"he gave them a large silver bead "now it will show where you are."
Vlad took themap "thank you," he turned to the teens "what do you think should we do it?"

Rob turned to the hunam wearing the helmet, "Is this why you wanted to heklp us? So we could run erends for some psudo-scientist." he didn't like being used.

the human wearing the helmet said
"No sir, I didn't know why he wantedyou we were just paid to get you a few years back if you appeared,which reminds me." turningto the other human who laughed and tossed him a large bag of coins.
the scientist turned to the vampires
"If you want to learn the truth you need my help, take your time, all you need to do is find the vault, enter it, then retrieve the machine in the vault. after that return here give me said machine I will give you the information you need to learn the truth."

Michael asked the scientist, "How do you propose we get there? Certainly you don't expect us to walk."

the scientist laughed
"Well if you wish I could lend you each a motorcycle, but i want them back if you lose them , there will be need of payment".

 

[Vay]

"Fine, I'm in. But I don't trust you. If the machene is dangerous, or sonething bad happens then we open the vault, or anything else, I'm coming for you, and no amount of mercs wil keep you safe."

Then in a wisper that only the other vampires could hear.

"There must be a reson he doesn't get it himself or send the mercs."

the Vampires having agreed were escorted to the garage each was given a motorcycle. Knowing how to operate from history class,they set forth the teens saw that they were in fact not bothered by the sunlight it was just bright. they reached a town with a sign that said "Morten" they entered through the town gate when they enterd they saw dozens of humans walking around.

the group took only a few steps when they heard a voice"Pssst" they turned and saw a man hunched over covered in a cloak gesturing them to follow him.

Yeah, sorry I was kinda waiting for Zen to make this decision, I seem to have made all the big ones lately.

Rob turned to the human(?) beckoning to them, under his robe he gripped his dagger ready in case it was a trap and slowly followed th figure not waiting to see if the others did the same. Quite frankly he didn't care about the human's machine and wasn't going to die to get it for him.

it was not a human in truthbut a fellow vampire he lead him to an abondoned house that was a vampire bar
they sold drinks (Water even alchohol) with blood in it

"So you have the job too i wish i could go with youbut I am on probation this is my tavern and the humans have forbidden me to leave town due to use of blood

"I thought they would want you to leave town." Rob said shrugging. "Is there anything you can tell us about the job? I don't trust that human." then after a slight pause "Also are you from the tunnels as well?"

the old man shook his head "no I came from a labrotory where they studied me, as for your quest if you plan on staying alive visit an abandoned lab called GenetiSyn, there will be some items that will help you there but you should try to find some armour not to mention better weapons those swords are fine up close but raiders don't try to be considerte if they can shoot you from afar all the better"

"Certainly you realize that we're a tad quicker than the human eye manages to see," Michael said, a twinge of arrogance in his voice.

The old man responded, "Certainly you realize that there are those who wait from afar with rifles every bit as accurate as, if not more than, your blades."

Michael's ego faltered. He then thought for a while.

"I don't know what you think," he said to Eric and Robert, "But I'd rather we look into this before we start on the search for whatever that whitecoat was talking about. I'm seeing some instant gratification for what this old man's offering."

"We could use some better equipment, where is this lab?" Rob asked. "And I guess you want monething from the lab as well?"

the old man laughe "no i don't need anything in that lab, you will know why when you reach there, the lab is a several miles west of here will take a few days, Don't worry about equipment the store next to my tavern will supply you just say Allan sent you"

Michael lit up. "Does he have some nice clothes for sale? I'd like a new outfit. This one has always struck me as a tad... uninspired."

the man laughed and nodded "he sells what ever you need, go ahead no one can prevent you."

the teens went into the store and got a discount due to their questand status they got food drinksand even some frozen blood to suppress urges, they were moving when suddenly they were attacked and forcedinto a nearby building, it was made to test the insane if they could get through they were sane enough to live in society.
