I agree with this entirely, and would also like to add that anyone becoming upset about someone looking at their characters' private parts needs to re-evaluate their priorities.

This article assumes that everyone here has played Star Trek Online. I for one have not, so naturally I have a few questions about this:

How did a number of people happen upon this directory? Is there some kind of built-in screenshot sharing functionality in the game? Did he willingly post some kind of Dropbox link or some other cloud sharing link? If he was attempting to sell the nude patch for in-game currency on a public directory, what's there to stop people of simply grabbing from this directory?

Seriously, this article is over 200 words of "some guy got caught with a nude patch".

i'm no stranger to STO and since launch there has seemingly been a "bug" where female player characters (and it only effects female characters strangely) teleportation effect causes them and their underware to arrive a faction of a second apart from the rest of their clothes...

You mean like the old joke: "Very funny Scotty. Now beam up my clothes!"
