the other races will be released with expansion packs most probably and the skaven and vampire counts are in the game as enemies you have to think they need to look to the future if the game is a big success they will need to add content they cant add everything in one and they did add there core army's as i said wait and see they will add more in the future

well andy hoare did verify lizards for a release next year, and having a lustria expansion would certainly open up the world...
i want lizards and skaven for the first expansion, wood elves and beastmen as the second- to allow players to enter the great forests.

i have been on the wiki page a few times and that's how i am seeing it also the chosen is a support tank worth ALLOT of buffs and debuffs wile the ork just runs in with his choppa and rape everything dude to there 10% healing per sec

I just got my game today, half an hour ago actually. Since my measly 512k connection gave up at the mere thought of downloading the 10G client, it is currently struggling with updating the game as well (I can't decide if a 822 MB patch released before the game oficially starts is good or bad).
So! While I waste my time here not righteously blasting dark elves, I was wondering if the people who are already in the game, or the ones just starting out want to post some info on what server they are playing/intend to play on? Don't forget to add your continent as well, i.e. Europe, North America, Oceania, the Moon...

i am darklands i am a lv 5 black ork loving the game so far i have just done a public quest and loved it came 2nd and got some cool boots but i want a choppa!!

This defender of righteousness is waiting on reviews of endgame before spending his hard earned gold on this game. Looks like the MMO breaker, though, with the combat system being more than click until dead.
The combat system's not really any different from other MMO's, except the auto-attack is painfully slow. If you adore PvP (and of course the Warhammer universe) you'll adore WAR. It has all the immediacy of WoW, but none of LotRO's swooning beauty. Public quests work well, and the fact that you can gain experience purely through PvP should be applauded. It's uglier than a bag of tongues, but you won't give a shit about that when you're getting humiliatingly "pwnt" by 12 year-old for the fifteenth time. Yeah, I like that every faction has "unique" careers, even if they did cut out some of them. I have a rank 5 Black Orc and I have to say, so far it's kinda boring. Do the abilities get more interesting or is it all use ability A which leads to B then to C and then over again? I have a Witch Hunter and Archmage too, and I think they are much more fun to play.
