I'm in Wisconsin and my brother is in Minnesota (Minneapolis to be specific, where snowfall brought down the football stadium). Snow is the norm here so we rarely ever close. We had about a foot of snowfall on Saturday and I was still out walking around and people were out driving. It was also -20F for a few mornings when I was walking to class, but we're now at a balmy 7F. In my entire life in the Midwest, I've only had school canceled 3 times. Once in elementary school, once in high school when it snowed in May, and once last year when it was 14 inches and plows weren't getting through fast enough.
