Well, there's Tom Kenny, who voices, well...

EVERYONE.

Seriously, from Spyro to Spongebob. From the formal and stereotypical Narrator of The Powerpuff Girls to the deep, growling accented voice of Eduardo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Sometimes the voices are barely different, like the Ice King from Adventure Time basically sounding like an angry, growling Spongebob...I recognised it instantly.

There's others, like that girl who does Raven from Teen Titans and Mandy from Grim Adventures. But in that example, it's really easy to notice seeing as they have the exact same tone.

Well, there are the obvious ones. I've just come to assume that every single character in fiction is voiced by Tara Strong, Including the men, with the occasional voice over of Mark Hamill.

Apparently Darth Maul is Crash Bandicoot though.

All of them.
Correction: Steve Blum is in Dawn of War 2, but he only voices Cyrus, Martellus and Eliphas The Inheritor. The Orks were voiced by several people, but primarily Brian Dobson and Keith Ferguson.

I'm generally quite good at recognizing voices, even with an accent or a tone change, but when I'm taken by surprise it's quite delightful. That being the case though, I can't quite think of anyone at the moment that has completely surprised me with two different voices. (Might be I'm just super tired).

But I will say I'm actually frustrated with how often I come across Jennifer Hale. She's an amazing voice actress, but after hearing her in everything, she's very easy to pick out and it gets a little tiring. Steve Blum is getting to that same point with me, only because it seems like he's so easy to pin-point, and both of them tend to voice multiple characters per each video game they do. Listening to a voice actor talk to him/herself in different tones isn't as much fun as it sounds. :/

Off the top of my head I know that the weird skeleton fortune teller thing from the second Percy Jackson movie is voiced by Shoreh Aghdashloo, who also voiced Admiral 'Raan from Mass Effect 2 and 3.
The rasp in her voice is instantly recognizable .

Yuri Lowenthal, the Waldo of voice actors. Always there, but not always in your face about it. Also whenever there is create-a-character and his voice is a choice, I prefer it for my lead male character. (Soul Calibur 4, Dynasy Warriors)

I love these topics so much. It's fun for me to see these connections.

But this one.

Look her up on IMDB sometime, this woman has been in everything, and I recon most people would know her voice immediately.
Grandma Stuffem and Azula have the same voice actor.

Fantastic.

The first voice anime voice actor I took notice of was Monica rial in moon phase, her voice is very distinctive. So I know that her in whatever anime I watch.. Lol her deliberately bad British accent in black butler is chalk board scratching though ha.

This is one that everyone probably already knows, and this man has probably been everywhere, but I feel he should at least be mentioned. Keith David, who is the voice for Anderson of the Mass Effect series, the Arbiter of the Halo series, and Sergeant Foley in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2; he was also the Shadowman of New Orleans, Doctor Facilier, and the leader of the gargoyles in the cartoon Gargoyles, Goliath.

I was caught off guard when I realized the guy behind the main person in Orcs Must Die also voiced the new commando from Borderlands 2, Axton. Made some sort of line in Borderlands of these ____ must die and it just clicked.

The lack of Phil LaMarr here is a little saddening, man has AMAZING range.

His roles include(but are not limited to):

Hermes Conrad (Futurama)
Static Shock (Animated series of the same name)
Ollie Williams (Family Guy)
Baxter Stockman (TMNT 2013)
Wilt (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)
Hector Con Carne (Evil Con Carne)
Samurai Jack (Titular character)
Vamp (Metal Gear series)
-Also Kevin in the recent Rising game
Jazz (Transformers Animated)
Bolbi Stroganofski (Jimmy Neutron)

Oh yeah and he was once named Marvin... And got shot in the face.

I love his voice acting.

Another interesting one is that the voice of Orvus in Ratchet and Clank? That's the guy who provides the voice for Mario. And the plumber from the first three games? He moonlights as a janitor in a hospital and tortures a resident there. ;P

Johnny Yong Bosch has voiced one of my all time favorite characters, something he definitely contributed too with his performance...

Also... an oldy but a goldy...

For another fun/crazy one... Steve Blum...

and while not suprising it's important to remember that Mugen and Spike do not share a voice actor in Japanese... English character nod only...

And probably my all time favourite voice actress...

And probably my most entertainingly weird one...

Wait for it....

Yup... in Castle of Cagliostro...

Anyway it's late, I'm tired... that's all I got for now...

Well that serves me right for trying to remember something without proper research. I just only remembered mr. Blum from that video above. If only I had bothered to watch it again!

Now I know there?s a website dedicated to this kind of thing, but I can?t for the life of me remember what it is, and my google fu is failing me. Anyone feel like linking it?

Laura Bailey.

I think I'm totally in love with her.

Mainly because she voiced this little guy.

From games I played, I recognize her as

Raspberry(?) from Disgaea thingy
Rise from Persona 4
female from Saints Row 3
Luna from Zero Escape

FF 13 (didn't play this one. but I think she voiced the trailer)

Checked her IMDB page and I didn't know she voiced Lady Comstock from Bioshock Infinite. I guess I don't know her voice as well as I thought.
Gotta agree that Laura Bailey is awesome.. she's beautiful, can sing and is a amazing voice actress with good range. i first heard her distinct voice in the anime Fullmetal Alchemist as Lust and so far my favorite role she's done is Hiyori Sarugaki on Bleach (though that's partially because i have a thing for anime girls with pig-tailed blond hair ).. she does a great job as Maka on Soul Eater too though.

See, this right here is why I feel kinda bad for Richard Steven Horvitz, because no matter where I hear him, it'll be Invader Zim. Doesn't matter if its Raz, Ziggs, Kaos, Orthopox, or any other,I will always just hear Zim.
On the other hand, Sometimes it plays in his favor, mostly in the role of Kaos (Who is pretty much the same character as Zim, just replace "Alien Invader" with "Dark Wizard")

My fiance and I have been hearing a number of Dragon Age Origins and 2 VAs in Diablo 3 lately. The guy who voices for Fenris is in Diablo 3 and Skyrim a bunch.

No, I don't pay attention to who is the person behind the character as a voice actor (but that's normal for me, I don't know the names of bands whose music I like half the time or the names of actors and actresses - but I know what I've seen them in - I don't care. Celebrity is just lost on me generally speaking), but I do notice the familiar voices and enjoy the connectivity. Although it is slightly jarring at times when the characters are very different to hear the same voice coming from both.

Mass Effect 2 - Grunt. I knew I had heard him somewhere, then it dawned on me. Grunt's voice actor voiced a great number of NPCs in Gothic 3.

Another would be in Risen 1, when I first met The Don. Instantly recognisable, but glorious all the same. John Rhys fucking Davies!
Last I checked Grunt was voiced by Steve Blum. Blum's been around, having voiced heroes, villains, and everything in between. Right off the top of my head I can tell you he was:

Grayson Hunt, Bulletstorm

Gene, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

Galvez, MGS Peace Walker

Killer Croc, Various other voices in the Batman Arkham games

Marines and brutes in the Halo games

The Thugs-4-Less Commander in Ratchet & Clank 2

...and many many many more. Like I said he's been around.
Roger Smith, guy from Rogue Galaxy, Spike Spegal, man I love that guy.
Don't forget this lovely gentlemen here.
