For the longest time, the voice of Zaeed in the ME games rolled around in my head... familiar, so familiar. That gravelly voice, where had I heard it? Who was it? Why was it so FAMILIAR?

Then, finally, ages later, it struck me. He was in another Bioware game...

I had one of these moments recently in Saint's Row 2. Maero, the leader of the Brotherhood, is voiced by Michael Dorn, otherwise known as Worf form ST: TNG. When I first heard him talking, I was like...wait a minute...I know that voice...but from where. And then it hit me. OMFG, it's mother fucking Worf!!!!!

But yeah, Vic Mignogna, Yuri Lowenthal, Johnny Yong Bosch, and a few others are literally everywhere, and they have easily recognizable voices, at least for me. And besides them, there's always a couple voices in every game or whatever that I recognize from somewhere else. Voice acting, like every other form of acting, mostly consists of a small pool of people who do practically everything because they're familiar, and familiarity is more likely to sell a product.

I'm watching Justice League Unlimited, and getting this so damn often.

Not counting the staples, you can't toss a rock without hitting a familiar voice actor.

These four main characters from Futurama...

are ALL voiced by the same person, Billy West! When they talk to each other in the show he is just talking to himself!

He also voiced both Ren AND Stimpy and Elmer Fudd...wow.

Also, Bender from Futurama IS Jake from Adventure Time!

Laura Bailey.

I think I'm totally in love with her.

Mainly because she voiced this little guy.

From games I played, I recognize her as

Raspberry(?) from Disgaea thingy
Rise from Persona 4
female from Saints Row 3
Luna from Zero Escape

FF 13 (didn't play this one. but I think she voiced the trailer)


Checked her IMDB page and I didn't know she voiced Lady Comstock from Bioshock Infinite. I guess I don't know her voice as well as I thought.

Gotta agree that Laura Bailey is awesome.. she's beautiful, can sing and is a amazing voice actress with good range. i first heard her distinct voice in the anime Fullmetal Alchemist as Lust and so far my favorite role she's done is Hiyori Sarugaki on Bleach (though that's partially because i have a thing for anime girls with pig-tailed blond hair ).. she does a great job as Maka on Soul Eater too though.

Beautiful.... yes.... yes she is.... *sigh*
