So I got a WTF situation at work today.
I work at a grocery store and there's been some thieves there the past month so we hired some security guards to patrol every hour there (not their only job obviously) and a customer went up to one of them and said she smelled like something was burning.
So he came to me and we went there looking and he said he couldn't smell anything. Since I live were I do and the past couple of weeks have been around minus 20C I just said "you caught the flu too?"
To which he replied: No, I worked at a bar a few years back and a guy came over and beat me down with a pint and then kept punching me until the other guard got him, so when I woke up at the hospital they said I had lost my sence of smell due to the damage I took to the face.
My reaction that you saw was pretty smooth but on the inside I was like whathehellisthatevenpossible??
So he litterally got his sence of smell beaten out of him...
Dear Escapist, I want to hear your "wait ... What?!!" stories. Told by someone or your own experiences.
