What is a game/movie/band that you know of that is really great, but nobody has ever heard of.

Games:
The Warriors (ps2)- Awesome brawler based on the 1979 movie of the same name.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (xbox)- Fantastic 3rd person shooter involving robots.

Movies:
Big Trouble- Was originally supposed to be released in late 2001, however when 9/11 happened it was delayed because its about a bomb and an airplane. However its one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

Band:
Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip- A rising european "rap" group that has some of the best lyrics i have ever heard. I use rap sparingly becasue Scroob is a spoken word poet and his frined Dan Le Sac just put his poetry to a beat and they decided to form a band.

Spoiler: Movie: Assembly, a Chinese war film, with some of the best battle scenes ever seen in a film.

Spoiler: Band: Amebix, a really, really good Crust band from the early 80's

You mixed these two up. Unless Chinese war films play that kind of music and Amebix have those kinds of music videos.

Band: So many to list...Godsized, Viatrophy (sadly now splitting up), Esoterica, Trigger the Bloodshed, iwrestledabearonce, HORSE The Band, Architects, Despised Icon, Electric Wizard and Foetus.

Movie: Don't really have one here, but amongst my friends, most Hitchcock films aren't exactly "popular," so I'll just put down North by Northwest. I was gonna put MM2: The Road Warrior, but someone else already did. lol.

Band/Artist: KMFDM, Korpiklaani, Frank Klepacki

Edit: Someone posted one of the best side-scrolling platformers of all time, and I forgot to mention how awesome Abe's Exodus was, probably everything I'd ever want in a sequel...

Movie: Black Sheep
Good comedy-horror movie out of New Zealand. Two words that will sell it to anyone: Killer. Sheep.

Band: Don't really have one, apart form Alestorm but they are quite well known.
Scottish Pirate Metal is awesome. 'Nuff said, really.

Is that the awesome PC car racing game from the mid 90s with loops, corkscrews, jumps, etc? Or are you talking about the PS2 platformer that was also out on xbox come to think of it. With a bunny or something?

Although you did remind me of the racing game with that post. I think I played that once.

Game:Wild Arms 3, awesome spaggeti western JRPG that had some really improved on Wild Arms 2's idea with a slick look.NOt the most obsucre but Idon't see people mention it too often

Movie: 12, a russian remake of 12 Angry Men,it had a great cast who told these awesome stories.

Band:Vanity Theft, all girl rock group from around where I live. They recently dropped their bassist for some reason, which sucks because she was a pretty good bassist and was attractive.

Movie: Michael Bay's The Rock . People just assume that it's shit because it is made by Bay. But it's not. It's a fantastic movie.
Book: It is a Russian book and fairly old so you probably don't know of it. It's called "The SHKID Republic".

Movie: Weirdsville, Fetching Cody, How to Rob a Bank, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Monster Man... I have a pretty long list.
Book: We by Yevgeni Zamyatin. Often voted in the top 100 fictions of all time yet I'll bet very few of you have heard of it.
Band: Chimera. They were pretty popular a while ago but fewer and fewer people have heard of them these days.
