Knuckles and Tails. But none of the other crappy sonic characters (apart from sonic himself obviously). How about some more Metal Gear characters? Like cyborg-raiden, Gray Fox or Liquid?

But Crash Bandicoot and Rayman would be pretty cool too. Then you could have Crash, Rayman, Sonic and Mario all in a brawl. OOOH! brainwave! Conker. That'd be awesome.

Ok these are some changes needed in the game

Ice climbers - there normal b and smash move need some work
Lucas- all his moves copy from ness and he's a coward so he needs to leave

Olimar - his weird rainbow deflecter blocker needs to go and he needs to throw his pikmin faster and straighter

Marth-looks like a chick and I'm not sure who's got more games but I liked Roy better

Mario-one problem- his fludd sucks

Gannondorf-needs his own moveset like his sword , he's to heavy , and what's the difference beetwen ganon and his f smash beast gannon

Luigi- his smash move sucks - it should be the polgerust

Kirby- instead of turning into a replica of a character he turns into his own abbilities example: sucking up link or ike makes him sword kirby, luigi and mario would either be fighter or fire kirby and sonic would be wheel kirby

Pokemon trainer-instead of ivysaur or squirtle it would be blastoise and venisaur so that charzard is not the only good one

Bowser- should have a move breathing a fire ball straight foward

Diddy kong - should have his popgun not take so long to shoot and it should always go straight plus his jetpack should start faster

Jigglypuff- I know he's a traditional cute/favorite pokemon but she/he sucks - she / he should be a simple pokeball Pokemon

They should also have more Pokemon in the poke balls such as

-sucuine, entei and raikou
- pichu- because he'll never be a character again
-lucario or mewtwo if they don't become a character
-blaziken-I LOVE THIS ONE even more than pikachu:O-torchic goes
-squirtel
-charmeleon
-arydactal
-evee or one of his/her evoulutions

-some 5 generation Pokemon if it happens

Here are some characters they should add

-young, deku, goron, and zora link- force diecty as smash move

-bowser jr.-diddy made it- why not

-mallow-cymbals , long strechy arms, thunder(like pikachu), a frogy stick and more weather moves and a killer weather smash move

-geno-his arms would be rockets, his hands would flip open and shoot bullets, his sharp fibers could stab and shoot off,he could do geno whrl, and his
smash move would be geno blast( he turns into a cannon)

-shadow- sonic moves , a gun , Final smash would be chaos blast

-knuckles- glide, sharp punches, climb forever, sonic moves, hyper knuckles as smash move

-Tails -fly, blaster, sonic moves, and a plane for his final smash

-chrono - you tell me. I don't know but he still looks awsome

-megaman-a blaster,sword and I don't know that much about mega man you tell me

-Rayman-long stretchy arms, can fly, rest is again up to you

-PAC man- with arms and legs, rev roll, butt bounce, kick moves

-more villians-you decide who but there outnumbered

-ashnard-you decide moveset

-michaiah- you decide moveset

-eilwood or lyn - one should be a character the other will be an assist

-krystal-magic, a spear, fox's moves, and an airwing as smash

-Issac- you decide moveset

-felix - you decided moveset

-crash- the spining thing and he wears tribal mask as smash

-spyro-ram into things, breath fire and ice and fly

-paula-a diifernt moveset than ness- trust me

-poo-psi moves and martial arts

Some of the stages should be like kirby 64 ( not exactly 3d but cloose)

-southern island- from sonic- blaze and marine will show up

-termania( from majoras mask) includes clock town, swamp,mountain, ocean, and canyon

-the old hyrule castle from 64 but with remolded backround

-nimbus land. (marioRPG)

-booster tower (mario RPG)

- bowser castle

-a golden sun stage( you decide)

- saturnsville (earthbound)

-a new Pokemon stage( you decide)

- a stage from clu clu land

-tetris


-they also have to get rid of that flower stage

I'd also like to suggest James and Krystal from Star Fox. I'm a total SF fanboy, I'll admit.

Also, I'd love Tails to be thrown in with the Sonic roster, and maybe Knuckles while we're at it (Shadow excluded for the sake of keeping SSB emo-free).

Finally, we need Jill and Barry. Final smash would be a weapon. It's really powerful, especially against living things.

(B): Coin Throw (if charged will become Emblem of Fire)
(Side B): Chain Pipe (goes horizontal)
(Up B): Chain Pipe (goes vertical)
(Down B): Sushi/Fortune Doll (he will randomly pull these out with the fortune doll being the rarest)
(Special): Impact ? Goemon takes out his Trident Shell and blows in it. Once this happens, a beam shoots down upon Goemon and lifts him towards the light. You will then see Impact landing behind the stage, when this happens Impact?s theme song from Mystical Ninja will play. You will be able to use the similar moves you get to use in Goemon?s Great Adventure robot fights. The same code and buttons will apply to each move like (Z) for the lasers, (A) for punches, (B) for jabs, and one of the most popular combos, up (C), down (C), up (C), down (C), & (A) for repeated punch. Once the special is about to run out, you?ll know this when Impact is about to blow up, you will be able to use the super beam, down (C), down (C), (Z).

Ebisumaru:
(B): Shuriken
(Side B): Solid Megaphone
(Up B): Twirl
(Down B): Hip Attack
(Special): Poison Mist (A.K.A. his fart move) ? Like in the end of the game Goemon?s Great Adventure when Ebisumaru stops Dochuki with his ?poison mist?, Ebisumaru will make a big blast of ?poison mist? sending everyone off the stage.

Sasuke:
Notice - (Down & Up A): Spiky Topknot (also up smash)
(B): Throwing Kunai (if charged will become Kunai of Severe Cold)
(Side B): Bomb (if charged will become Fire Cracker Bomb)
(Up B): Fly Magic
(Down B): Plant Bomb (if charged will become Fire Cracker Bomb)
(Special): Fireworks ? As in the mini game played in Majin Island (a world in Goemon?s Great Adventure), a line of firework posts will be set across the whole stage. Sasuke will light all of them and then the whole place will be bombarded by fireworks.

(Side B): Charging Katana Slice (like Ike?s Quick Draw)
(Up B): Katana Air Slice (like Marth?s Dolphin Slash)
(Down B): Katana Shield (like Pit?s Angel Ring)
(Special): Mermaid Magic ?The whole stage will go underwater and then she will start swimming around the stage attacking opponents with her bazooka.

Bowser Jr.:

(Side B): Paint Whip (Like Zero Suit Samus?s Side B)
(Up B): Paint Rope
(Down B): Transform to Shadow Mario
(Special): Mecha Bowser ? The one from Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser Jr. will hop in the Mecha Bowser. Like Impact, you can control your move set. (B) to use your flamethrower, (A) for bullet bills (also homing), and (Z) to shoot fireballs.

Shadow Mario:
(B): Paint Gun
(Side B): Paint Trail
(Up B): Paint Slide (Like Squirtle?s Waterfall)
(Down B): Transform to Bowser Jr.
(Special): Paint Slash ? Like Link?s Triforce Slash, the unlucky opponent will be trapped inside the ?M? and Shadow Mario will attack them with multiple hits and then with one big one.

 

[Tales of Golden Sun]

SSB4 could use someone from the Golden Sun series... and a proper golden sun lighthouse stage.
With the beacon lit in the background and the Wise One and the Fusion and Doom dragons passing by every now and then...

characters from golden sun have so much potential to be good SSB fighters... with the sheer amount of special sword moves, psynergy, djinnies and summons in golden sun you could easily make 10 characters with different moves. For instance:

Isaac:
(B): A special sword move or a djinny, or whatever be creative
(Side B): Ragnarok (a giant sword pierces the enemy from the side)
(Up B): Growth (when used on solid ground plants will shoot up and disappear, when used in the air plants will latch on to a platform (like bulbasaur's Up B))
(Down B): Gaia (rocks shoot of of the ground in an upward motion)
(Special)Summon Judgement

His grabs could involve psynergy moves like Carry, Pound and Move, and his normal attacks would be sword attacks (after all, he IS a swordsman)

Isaac deserves to be more than just an assist trophy.

And people, when you post, don't just shout out names of game characters you like.
Think about what those characters would mean to the game. Megaman would be a samus copycat( in my opinion) and characters like marcus fenix and master chief would just be more of the same.

actually some think Megaman would a clone of samus
He would be simialar to samus but have a sword and just think of some moves from ALL his games
However waluigi would be a clone so he should stay as an assist
Some want daisy who would be a clone of peach(of course) but she would be a good assist trophy
