Lord English stared. He felt woozy.

"...WHAT EXACTLY WAS THAT MEANT TO ACCOMPLISH. MY STOMACH IS UPSET. OH NO. WHAT EVER WILL I DO. TRULY. I HAVE BEEN BEATEN."

His gun shifted back to staff mode once more, and he aimed the planetoid-shaped end at Carmen, releasing a burst of energy similar to his mouth beam.

"We keep our lives, since we're winning the bet." Gold said, flicking through his equipment. He winced at Jack's death, knowing how a dagger to the chest felt.

Lord English would see Carmen roll to the right and hear her walk to the side and let out a melodic laugh. [color=bb0066] "Oh... That was supposed to melt your insides. It seems your body is as dense as your skull. No matter, it's not like you've been able to do much of anything against me, correct?" [/color] What the man was hearing and seeing however was an illusion.

The real Carmen had dodged to the left and was slowly charging up her power as a small red magic circle opened up under her. [color=bb0066] I'll have to end this quickly... [/color]

"YOU REALIZE THAT I HAVE CONTROL OVER REALITY. That was mostly true - he was still incredibly powerful in this universe, although not as omnipotent as his normal self. He flash-stepped behind the illusionary Carmen and snapped its neck, letting the body slump forward. "YOU CANNOT HOPE TO FOOL ME. He began firing in a circle, emptying the clip.

With Lord English firing erratically, Carmen was forced to stop her charging short, the circle only staying at level 1. she blocked the bullets flying toward her with her sword, though one pegged her in the thigh, causing black blood to pour out of it. She scowled annoyed as her illusion dissipated and her position was revealed. The circle bathed her in red light as the still energized sword in her hand turned a slightly darker red, denoting more power having been put into it. She cautiously moved forward, limping slightly, keeping a tight grip on her sword.

Gold chuckled. "No, you get nothing because you bet AGAINST Carmen. I got the cash because I bet for her. Big difference."

Gold looked at Espeon. "You know, using foresight's kinda illegal for use in events of chance. Usual prison sentence is around 6 months."

Jack eventually was able to respawn. He was a little annoyed it wasn't instantaneous like he was used to, but he wasn't going to complain. He left where ever the respawn area was and started wandering around again.

"THERE YOU ARE." English stomped his foot, and the walls of the arena fell away like stage walls, revealing a vast white void. English ran straight at Carmen once more, tackling her and running with her far beyond what the Arena should have held. He stopped using his peg leg yet again, sending Carmen flying. "I TOLD YOU I CONTROLLED REALITY. AND NOW. I SHALL FUCK YOU UP."

*At Gold* When was this law made! Why was I never informed! I plead the fifth! I demand a lawyer to! I am being wrongly persecuted!

Gold chuckled. Espeon would feel its mind touched in a similar manner to how another psychic would communicate. Don't worry. You're probably from a different universe or something. Unless you and your trainer were in Orre for a while. From what I understand about there, its pretty lawless. Wouldn't be hard to use a psychic there without allowance of the rangers.

*To Gold* Whew!... Wait are you one of those humans gifted with psychic powers. I though they were just a hoax Ethan seeing the sun set. Ran off to his room quickly. He left his backpack and several of his pokeballs in the lounge for some reason though

Gold glanced at the items, and held out his hand. One of the pokeballs flew from its sitting position into his palm, with no provocation. well, if I'm not a psychic, should probably get myself checked out. That definitely ain't natural.
