"Now that would just be a waste, when this little alliance is looking to be like so much fun." Solaris responded dryly. Approaching Pix, she held out her arms again, a small smile on her face. "And, yes. It should be. Unless new people are prowling the hallways now."

"Right this way then." Lapis replied to Eddie, making her way out of the lounge and down the hallway towards the Arena. Once she was sure Eddie was following her, she turned back to him and commented, "I've spent the past few days wandering around these hallways looking for my scattered Clan-mates, now I practically have the lay-out committed to memory."

 

[FPSfanatic]

A form appeared in the entrance room, accompanied by screams of pain and suffering and a portal glowing with the light of fire escaping it. the form cast its head about, sniffing with its nose, hidden behind a raven mask, and shrugged, stretching. "well, this should be a fun vacation." he muttered, moving towards the door as the screams died down, along with the portal dying and disappearing.

Pix chuckled a bit. [color=80bb00] "Isn't it a good thing to let your partner know your likes and dislikes though? Now you know what will push me over the edge, I'd ask the same of you, but you're obviously gonna stay tight-lipped on that." [/color] Seeing Solaris open her arms, Pix quickly flowed around her and took the armored form once again. [color=80bb00] "You sure you don't want me in some different form? Walking around with armor on all the time is gonna seem awkward to people." [/color] She asked of Solaris as a small drip of goo extended down and looked under the doorway to see if anything was walking down the suite hallways.

"I'm not one to get angered quickly. My brother inherited that paticular trait. Although I do dislike overconfidence. That you said "try to kill", rather then assume you could without a shadow of a doubt, that was a nice change of pace." Solaris commented, blowing a small sigh after Pix molded herself around Solaris. At Pix's question, Solaris shook her head. "No, you can assume an other form tomorow. Today, I'm just getting used to moving in my new suit of armour, and it's safer to get a feel for it outside of battle then in."

After Pix would give the all clear and retract her drip, Solaris opened her door, and left her suite, locking the door behind her, then began to move back to Ness' suite.

"Yeah... I know how much of a pain it can be to get a crew to stick together for more then five minutes when they're not doing anything they're suposed to be doing. It's never fun." Eddie replied as he followed Lapis.

The door slid open, and the form exited the room, into the hallway outside the arrival rooms. It looked around curiously, and began wandering down the hallway, opposite in the direction the voice overhead was suggesting he head.

"So you have experience at leading others? I might have to ask to pick your brain later. To speak truthfully, this is my first time assuming a leadership position for our Clan." Lapis replied to Eddie, having one of her ears turned towards him so she could easily listen while keeping an eye on where she was going. Once the pair had made it to the entrance of the Arena proper, Lapis glanced through and found it was empty. "It seems we must have arrived first." Jerrog must be putting on one of his heavier suits...

[color=80bb00] "Alright, I'll keep that in mind." [/color] Pix said as she retracted her drip. [color=80bb00] "Oh, so you actually have a brother? ...Guess I'll ask more about that once we're done doing our business." [/color]

Ness' suite would be locked due to Bruce as Solaris and Pix made it to the doorway.

The form eventually wandered the halls in curiosity and boredom, looking for another living thing to speak to.

The form would eventually find another form wandering about. The form was a bit short, but seemed to be dragging something behind itself as it walked distractedly.

The form approached the other, staring at it in curiosity. "Hey there, you know this place well?" he asked, gesturing to indicate he was speaking of the building in general.

The form revealed itself to be a girl with empty-looking eyes, dragging a sword behind herself. In response to what the other had said, the girl nodded. [color=00aa44] "This unit is familiar with the area. ....Requesting name in exchange for requested information." [/color] The girl said robotically.

"...Malcor." he said, after hesitating for a moment to consider.

[color=00aa44] "Acknowledged, Malcor. This unit's name is Vera." [/color] The girl said, now turning fully to look up at the probably taller man since the girl stood at about 5'5". She wore a simple T-shirt and black jeans. On her skin, however, were networks of lines, small blue lights traveling up and down the wires fluidly. [color=00aa44] "This area is an interdimensional battle arena. Participants are abducted from their universes and forced to fight here, or face isolation until they agree to fight. This arena also has respawning capabilities, meaning participants can fight without fear of truly dying, though the fear of dying temporarily is enough to make some not fight to kill. Ending summary. Is there anything else you'd like to request?" [/color] The android said, not blinking the entire time she explained the situation, examining Malcor as she spoke.

Vera would not Malcor was in a filthy tweed suit, coated with stains of a strange black substance. His sleeves in particular were coated in the substances. He stood at 5' 9", and wore a brimmed hat to partially cover his face. He also had a mask vaguely shaped like a raven's head on. "No need, you've summed it up well. Since you answered a question of mine, its only fair I answer a question of yours, if you have one." he stared expectantly from behind the bird mask.

[color=00aa44] "Why do you hide your face with that mask? Moreover, why did you choose one that resembles a raven?" [/color] Vera asked, tilting her head at an exactly 45° angle.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Malcor cocked his head to match Vera's movements. "Because my face is ugly and I like the way a raven looks."

 

[Chungus]

"You're really a curious one, aren't you?" Solaris said with a slightly lowered voice as she walked through the hallway. Upon reaching Ness' suite, Solaris placed her hand on the doorknob, and slowly and softly turned to open it, only to find the door had been locked. [sub]"That's odd. I wonder if she woke up..."[/sub]

"I wasn't really a leader, that's never really been my thing. I just kept things orginised, made sure everything was working as they were supposed to, and that things were running smoothly. Actually being the face of the band was someone else's job." Eddie responded, lightly scratching the back of his head with his free hand.

After following Lapis to the entrance of the arena, and finding it to be empty, Eddie looked around momentarily, before looking back to Lapis. "Huh... You think your pal got himself lost, or something?"

"Is that not what a leader does though? Direct everyone to do as they should?" Lapis replied. "And it's possible, but I don't think--" Lapis stopped talking as her ears turned to face back down the hallway and she turned her head to face the same way. Shortly thereafter, Eddie would be able to hear the sound of metal clanking against the floor of the hallway, followed thereafter by the sight of Jerrog wearing a suit of heavy armor, or at least one could assume it to be Jerrog, as though his face was hidden by a large helmet, his distinct size and form would give him away.

"Agh, sorry for tha hold up." Jerrog spoke after coming to a halt a few feet from where Lapis and Eddie stood, resting the haft end of a lance down against the ground. "S'been a while since I had ta put this on. Fergot how long it took." He added with a chuckle.

[color=80bb00] [small] "Yeah, I am.... Why do you think I wanted to stick with you?" [/small] [/color] Pix replied as a small drip began to flow into the keyhole. After a while, the drip took the proper form of key and opened the lock. If Solaris walked in, Ness would still be asleep on the floor while the books were still in their places they had seen before. A few books were on the floor and a majority were still on the shelf. The fedora girl had fallen on a few books while others were safely away from her.

[color=00aa44] "Acknowledged." [/color] Vera stated, tilting her head to the other side as Malcor did. [color=00aa44] "Isn't 'ugly' a subjective human term? It's illogical to believe you are ugly when the standard is flawed." [/color]
