EMily was focused on Annika when Beth asked her a question. She turned back.
"Huh? Oh yes. I know a bit of psychology. But I'm a physicist, so I don't know how much I can say."

"You know what I mean, Gwen." She said back to her sister, turning her head over her shoulder. She went back to Beth. "What can I help you with?"

EMily composed herself as a teacher would in front of a class. It was her own way of wanting to explain things.
"Well, wanting to know if someone's okay is a natural response. Doesn't have to come from a psychologist. But the telepathy thing is something that I learned from a trans-human named Markus. I know it must sound bizarre, but I have the ability to channel and sense electromagnetism on many scales. At high energies, it allows me to examine brain synapses firing. Markus was the one who helped translate some of the brain's internal language. Most of this will become a lot more believable when I demonstrate it. Although I will say that I did know you were a cyborg before you claimed you were one."

"My apologies. It looked like organic flesh over metal components."

OOC: I forget if that's how she's supposed to look. Terminator robots are considered cyborgs since they are often disguised as humans.

"No thank you, that's quite alright." EMily waved her hand. "I've asked a lot of questions about you, but do you have any questions about us?"

[color=0047AB]"Just a few. Are you OK, how did you get your powers, what's with the outfits, stuff like that."[/color] Beth replied casually.

"In order of reception: I'm doing alright, if a bit confused as to the nature of the place we're in. We were born with our powers, which are based off of the fundamental forces of nature. Our outfits are made of neosteel silk, so they're bullet resistant. And we worked as maids in a mansion growing up. So our outfits are in honor of our time spent."

[Slenn]

"You're most welcome. You don't want any elaboration on any of what I just said?"

"Well, don't hesitate to ask questions about us in the future. I love explaining things. But tell me, how long have you been in service since activation?"

[Slenn]

"Exactly ten years you said? You mentioned you did some construction and engineering. What kind of construction did you do? Did you build houses, roads, skyscrapers?"

[color=0047AB]"Skyscrapers, planes and ships, some computers, stuff like that. One time I worked on a gondola that was between two office buildings, had to build it from the ground up. That was fun."[/color]

"Well it's always good to be prepared. That, and our captain is an idiot, and you never know what the hell he's going to do! So now I carry around brass knuckles in case of pirate attacks."

Annika looked a little confused as EMily addressed her. After a quick translation from the bear, which nobody but Annika would hear, Annika nodded.

The Doctor had looked over Annika, quickly. "Well she doesn't have any signs of injury, I could do scans on her if you want, but I doubt that it would tell me anything."
