The Meta slashed the whip with the blade on his brute-shot, then launched a grenade at Carmen.

I can't take care of this many things at once. Any new arrivals will be shown to the best room they can imagine, then to the lounge. There they can talk and watch the ongoing match.

AS Jensen wandered the halls he came across a munber of individuals milling about, brooding silently or talking to one another. Without speaking he observed them as he passed, hard eyes assessing them with the experienced professionalism of a long-time security expert. Some looked more passive than others, and some more...normal, but he suspected that none of them worked as accountants for a living.

@Kirke: Oh. Alright, cool.

As she saw the grenade coming, Carmen swung one of her wings in front of her. The gust of wind blew it off course as Carmen twirled around and slashed the air with her dagger, sending a cutting gust of wind toward the Meta.

The Meta rolled to the side and launched three more grenades while slowly walking towards Carmen.

Blondie ducked into the first open room he came across and closed the door. He found the accommodations to be quite to his liking. Very simple, with an extensive liquor cabinet. He took a seat in a wooden chair and watched to door.

Using her wings again, Carmen flew back and extended her hand, the circles forming around her hand. [color=bb0066] "7th circle... Violence!" [/color] A massive stream of red energy flew and consumed the grenades before flying toward the Meta.

The Meta ground-pounded, creating a bubble shield around him that deflected the beam. When it was over, he leaped forward and tried to cut Carmen in half.

Jensen wandered into a lounge with a wide panel window across one wall and a row of luxurious leather seats with a bar near the back. Ignoring these he strode to the window and looked outside. It overlooked a gladiatorial style arena with a number of combatants duelling with one another down below. He took a step back.

"What the hell is this?"

Carmen, still being airborne, maneuvered out of the way of the deflected spell and swung her dagger to meet with Meta's blade, deflecting its attack as well.

The Meta, well, landed back on the ground since he couldn't fly. He then turned around and fired of a pair of grenades against Carmen.

OOC: @Gear I'll never understand why everyone quotes that so much. He only ever said it once in the game and it was optional dialogue.

"Looks like a gladiator arena, kupo."

Jensen would see a moogle with a large mailbag satchel to his side.

"Hello sir, may I introduce myself, I am Mogelton, kupo." The moogle took a short bow.

@Kirke: Welp, I'm an idiot. Edited last post to make more sense.

Carmen loop-de-looped in the air to try and avoid the grenades, but some of the shrapnel from the explosions hit her in the midsection. Growling under her breath, she casted Anger, extending her dagger with red energy. She swooped down toward the Meta at blinding speeds, aiming to slash at his shoulder.

The Meta rolled to the side, slowing down time to half its ordinary speed. When Carmen came down beside her, he cut against her back with a heavy cut.
