Rex and Pat were still in the lobby, so they happened to witness Nanami and Selim enter into the arena and saw the match start. "God fucking damn it." Rex growled angrily as he bolted out of the room to see if he could get into the arena. Pat decided to stay and keep an eye on what would happen with the two.

Rex's grip on the blade would fail as it morphed again, and the liquid metal would settle around his gripping fingers. Now the weapon resembled a cheese grater, with Rex's fingers gripped in it.
Malcor's jaw bobbed up with the punch, and bobbed down after his teeth clicked together. He looked at Rex's face and pulled his hand grasping the hilt of his weapon, intending to lop off Rex's fingers.

The steps continued to close in on Kenna's position, getting a bit wayward at times but steadily closer. [color=bb0066] Hmmm.... I was never the best with navigation.... [/color]

[color=80bb00] "What kind of question is that?!" [/color] Pix said with a hearty chuckle. [color=80bb00] "It was way more fun than I thought... and the taste of her blood was different than what I'm used to..." [/color]

Solaris would taste the same thing, the blood of the fedora girl had a sweeter taste to it than most other human blood would. It would be subtle but perhaps noticeable.

Seeing the weapon morph again, Rex had jerked his hand out as best he could after landing the uppercut, managing to only come away with most of his fingers, his index being scraped off and now black blood spurting from the wound. Malcor would notice that small sparks began to emanate around his opponent as he rushed in once more and tried to slam another fist into Malcor's abdomen, this one carrying more force than the last few punches.

As the hollow clang rang out from the doors locking behind herself, seeing that the doors had indeed closed. What was this? Why would the doors just lock them up like that?

Just as some of these thoughts raced through her mind, the scenery completely changed inside the arena. Gone was the steel and modern walls and floor. Instead a dome like structure formed. It was nearly spherical in shape, and other than some lights didn't seem to have much substance to it, the lights themselves interlaid into the wall itself. The floor was primarily a dirt material, having several boulders and rocks, and the occasional statue littering the area. At the outer most edges of the room, where the walls met with the floor, a small ring of water that went around the entire landmass. The landmass clearly dominating the water ring.

"Wwwhhaaaa..!" Nanami was completely stunned as to what all had just happened, not putting much effort in making real words given the situation.

Kenna stayed still, waiting for whoever it was to get here.

Eventually, Kenna would see Carmen looking around casually. The demoness would eventually lock eyes with Kenna if she didn't hide or something of the like, but regardless, she'd keep moving closer.

Kenna didn't move, merely waving at Carmen as she approached, her still wolf-like ears twitching and moving instinctually.

Malcor rotated, holding his right arm up, and allowed Rex's fist to swing past him like a matador narrowly dodging a bull. As his arm raised, the blade turned to liquid and raced up his right arm, along his back, and into his left, turning into a metal hatchet. He swung his right arm down to grasp Rex's wrist, and swung down his left to attempt to remove Rex's arm.

Carmen blinked as Kenna waved toward her and approached, waving as well. As she got closer and noticed the wolf ears, the demoness blushed a small bit and pointed to them. [color=bb0066] "I understand this is sudden... but may I feel your ears, dear?" [/color]

Malcor would grab Rex's wrist, but the hatchet arm would be stopped by Rex's left. As he held Malcor in place, he growled and shot a discharge of electricity into the masked man, the voltage being equivalent to a taser.

"What?" Kenna seemed shocked by the suggestion. "Uh... I guess, if you want."

Carmen giggled uncharacteristically girl-like as she reached up toward the twin furry triangles on Kenna's head. If allowed, she'd begin to move her fingers around them and eventually would start scratching at the base of the ears, giggling lightly all the while. [color=bb0066] "Ah, so soooooft~" [/color]

Kenna stayed quiet, mostly just wondering what the hell had come over Carmen, and admittedly enjoying the strokes and scratches.

Malcor shook, and released Rex's right hand. The hatchet in his left hand turned to liquid again, and hid itself somewhere on his person. Malcor's fingers on his right hand morphed to talons, and he wrenched at Rex's hand that held Malcor's left, attempting to claw apart the hand if Rex refused to release.

After the talons came out, Rex quickly ceased his discharging and retreated, shifting back once again, taking a few gashes from Malcor's claws. Afterward, he swung another feint left and swung a hard right straight. However, the chain around his arm would transmute mid-punch, into a plated gauntlet with a demonic pentagram decorated the rusty steel surface. The punch's force would be boosted a bit more than before as the half-demon swung.

As Carmen continued to caress Kenna's ears, she suddenly ceased and stepped away from Kenna, her face almost as red as her tail. [color=bb0066] "....Uh... I... Uh..." [/color] She stammered before idly grabbing her own heart pointed tail and stroking it idly. [color=bb0066] "Um... Could you not tell anyone I just did... what I did...?" [/color]

Kenna blinked, then chuckled, her ears shifting back to human. "Don't worry, I won't tell unless you do." She wandered off, looking away from Carmen with a small smirk on her face. Or unless it's really really funny.

"Shhh." Solaris responded, placing a finger over Pix's lips when she chuckled as heartily as she did. "And, yes... It is. What a pleasant little suprise." Looking down to her hands again, she considdered licking more off, but lightly shook her head upon deciding against it. "Let's enjoy the after-moment where no one can walk in on us." With that said, Solaris left the locker rooms, hanging her head again to keep up the act of being shocked by killing a person in case someone would run in to her. And sure enough, she passed Rex on the way, although she paid him no mind.

Reaching her suite, she looked up, but stood where she was, perplexed to find her door being smashed through. "Looks like someone has been snooping around..."

As the doors slammed shut, Selim turned around quickly, looking both frightened, and somewhat confused. [color=915f6d]"Umm..."[/color] He didn't manage to get more words out of out of his mouth, as the anouncer anounced the start of the battle, followed by the enviroment changing. While most confused by what happened to the surroundings, what the anouncer had said was of greater concern to him. [color=915f6d]"I-I don't want to fight..."[/color] He whimpered.

Rex entered the locker rooms and started trying to open the doors that led to the arena.

Having not really understood what was supposed to happen in such an event, Nanami was just as against the prospect of fighting as Selim, if not more so. Selim's words pulled Nanami back to reality for a moment, realizing he didn't want to fight either.

"Nnaannammi noott ffigghttt." She replied.

Malcor took a few steps back, placing him amidst the various tables in the bar. He extended his left arm to block the attack, and the metallic silver jetted foward, becoming a shield to absorb the punch. If Rex was a study of history, he might recognize the shield as a Roman legionnare's.

[color=915f6d]"Yeah!"[/color] Selim said, now speaking with more certainty now that Nanami had expressed not wishing to fight either.

Whoever ran the arena didn't intend to let either Nanami or Selim go until there had been fighting, however. There were a few moments of nothing happening, before a door opposite the one Nanami and Selim came through opened. Animalistic growling could be heard, before three odd-looking creatures stepped forward. They had the head and partial body of a lion, hind legs of a vulture, and tail of a rattle snake. Seeing these chimera, Selim gasped, and went to hide behind the rock furthest away from the chimera.

As the battle had already started, Rex wouldn't be able to open the door.
