Rex was frustrated by even his enhanced strength being not enough to open the door. He decided to plant some explosives on the door and detonated it after moving a good distance away.

If Nanami knew the phrase 'What the Fuck', she might have used something along those lines. The beast before her seemed like something that shouldn't be, an amalgamation of random parts. Seeing such a beast made her wish that Rook was by her side, together they could have easily take the monster.
Regardless, the intimidating nature of the chimera was more than enough to instill a sense of caution for Nanami, bringing her spear up, slowly baiting the chimera away from Selim and closer to the water.

Two of the chimera looked towards Nanami, and began prowling towards her while uttering snarls. They would soon move further away from one another, so to attack Nanami from both left and right once close enough to do so. The third, however stayed near the door, which had closed once the chimera entered the arena, and sniffed the air.
Selim continued to hide behind the boulder, while glancing around the area he could see without peeking around the boulder's corner, seeming to look for a way out, or better place to hide.

After the explosives planted on the door by Rex detonated and the smoke cleared, Rex would see the only effect the blast had was leaving a dent in the door. He wouldn't be able to look at this for long, however, as two move heavy steel doors slid over the ones he had damaged.
"Mr. Powercolt, please don't attempt to interfere in an ongoing fight." The anouncer said from the speaker in the locker room.
Selim continued to hide behind the boulder, while glancing around the area he could see without peeking around the boulder's corner, seeming to look for a way out, or better place to hide.

Sadly, the shield's significance was lost on Rex as he wasn't the most book-learned person around. Once the metal clanged against one another, sparks flew and Rex smirked a small bit before the gauntlet had a few sparks arc around it and another taser-like discharged poured into the shield and by proxy into Malcor. Rex hopped back once more seeing that Malcor had gotten himself in a small sea of bar tables, one of Rex's favorite improv weapons in a bar fight.

"It could be anyone... I'd half suspect my ally, if but she doesn't seem like to type to break a door down, as opposed to enter with more subtlety." Solaris commented with an irritated tone to her voice. Opening the door, she entered, and began searching the room for anything that might have been taken. Naturally, she was unaware of the pressense of Carmen's projection.

Nanami kept a close eye on the two chimera that were getting closer and closer to her, particularly making a note for the strange tail the beasts had. She would still be a ways off from the water, but she didn't dare move much faster than she already was, not wanting to sacrifice her footing just yet as she didn't know what the beasts were capable of.
Just as the chimera tried to instill an intimidation factor within her, so to did she to them. The feeling of 'you really do not want to get in my way right now' almost oozed from her.

Rex still had a few more packets of explosives, so he wired those up to the doors and moved away a further way from the doorway again.
Malcor's body spasmed in its well versed pain of electrical shocks, and so retracted the shield, replacing it with two metal gauntlets. He then gripped one of the nearest tables and picked it up one handed, hurling it at Rex.
With how intimidating Nanami looked, the two chimera going for her slowed their pace and growled more loudly, rattling their held high tails. Regardless of Nanami's intimidation factor, there were two of them, and one of her. That combined with their hunger was enough to make them press onwards, further spreading out to the point where one of them would be in Nanami's blind spot from how she was position. After some time of approaching, the chimera to the left leapt at her with claws sharp enough to pierce iron extended.
The third chimera picked up on Selim's scent, and began prowling towards the boulder he hid behind. Hearing the beast's growls, Selim whimpered, and climbed ontop of the boulder, knowing he wasn't likely going to out-run it. As the chimera neared, it felt the same disturbing and oppressive pressense others had felt, which was enough for the third chimera to back away and head to the others, at least for the moment.

"We warned you." The anouncer said after a while. The moment the message ended, the floor on which Rex stood would be electrified. Although the electric currents weren't strong enough to kill, it would be quite painful.

"It could be anyone one of the people here." Solaris responded as she searched the room. Finding that nothing was missing, she sighed, and brought a hand to her chin, wrapping the free hand around her waist. "Nothing is missing... So they were hoping to find something speciffic... The priest perhaps, then? He could have mistaken the transmutation circles for some form of pagan magic."

Hearing the left chimera leap, Nanami instinctively wheeled around. Although her positioning was off, she still managed to connect with her spear blade on the chimera's paw as it came down. If it cut or not was strictly based on how tough the hide on the chimera was, but regardless, it had realized this meal had more than enough fight.

With his insistance on honour, it strikes me as... odd that he'd so shamelessly breaks into a lady's bedroom like this. Especially when he has little reason to suspect me of "heresy"." She commented, then stopped moving, and looked to the hallway. "The silver-haired tart, perhaps? From what I've seen, she's strong enough to be able to damage a door like this, plus, she's been spouting nonsense about me, claiming I'm not human. She may have been looking for incriminating evidence. Means and motive..."

Malcor grunted as one hand was held up, catching the table and barely holding it off his head. His other hand changed his glove into a smaller, fingerless glove, with a small coil of wire connected to a kunai. He lobbed the kunai at Rex, aiming for his face.
