I'm sure they would've thought stuff like this through if they brought in our fair knight in this hellhole." [/color]

"Well... They were able to see the knight tearing up the lounge, even if there aren't any... cameras, as they're appearantly called, there. So I suppose you're right." Solaris responded, stopping walking towards the lounge, and blowing a small sigh, before turning around. "Taking a walk it is. The area where I arived in should be a good area for it."
After a few moments, Solaris blew another small sigh, and shook her head. "That little lapse in judgement there was because I hit my head when I fell." She stated with something of a joking tone.

Moving on, Solaris eventually reached the hallway connecting the corridors to one of the arival rooms, where upon Solaris crossed her arms, and leaned against a wall. "Well, here we are... And, yes. I can understand that feeling. Being cropped up for so long can't be fun."

Vera frowned a small bit at Rex before looking back to Selim and tilting her head. [color=00aa44] "Unit's completion of missions earns it good rewards. It is also enjoyable to execute said missions." [/color] She seemed confused by the notion that 'fun' could be had when not on the job. If you're not getting a reward, where's the enjoyment to be had? Her thoughts were broken out of by Selim suddenly wanting her to try to draw. Vera looked to the desk blankly before looking back to Selim. "Absolutely." Solaris answered with a resolute nod as her gaze followed Pix as Pix bounced around. "Holding on to some of my dignity, or becoming another face in the braindead masses. The choice seems obvious to me. Sure, someone could find use for a dumber version of myself, but it would still be degrading."

"I'm not exactly a hero, but yes. Those are the options, as far as I'm concerned. And is it degrading if I don't know better?" Solaris asked, then paused while closing her eyes for a moment. "Yes. Just because there is no one to hear a a tree fall in a forest, doesn't make it silent. Just because I won't know any better doesn't mean I wouldn't have fallen from grace." Opening her eyes again, Solaris smiled slightly towards Pix as she watch Pix bounce around once more. "Although this is a moot point. The chances of it actually happening are next to none."

Checking the desk, Vera would see a bunch of sheets of paper, on some of which half-finished drawings were drawn, as well as a myriad of pencils and crayons, most of which were strewn about the desk, but some were in a pencil holder. On the upper right corner of the desk, a desk lamp with a white lampshade sat.

"It's not cockyness, it's logic. The only way for it to happen would be to either to suffer massive cranial trauma, or a mental disease. There's no trace of the latter in my family tree, and while in here, the former would be imposible due to every form of damage being healed... [sub]at least for the moment[/sub], and when back on my home world, I won't be getting into any fights. So, that would leave a car or train crash as a posibility, which is also most unlikely." Solaris commented, speaking in a matter-of-factly tone. At Pix's second comment, Solaris looked a bit more quizical. "Hmm... Is that concern I hear in your voice?"

Getting killed also won't be happening. Solaris thought upon hearing Px's first comment, although didn't comment on it further. "Well... I didn't expect you to care, considdering the short time we've known eachother." She said, sounding genuinely suprised. Wherther or not she was, however, was imposible to tell. "But... your concern is appreciated."
