As Solaris and Pix walked around, they'd find no trace of Vanessa anywhere. They'd catch glimpses of Carmen sulking around, and signs of life emanating from a few rooms.

Vera blinked a bit before tapping herself curiously as she listened to Selim, letting him go as soon as he had let go. [color=00aa44] "That's odd... Unit is supposed to emulate the heat of a human body... but that function seems to have failed..." [/color] Her eyes blinked to life for a moment, the empty pools of black turning a violet color as hourglasses blinked into existence once again. [color=00aa44] "Running self-diagnostic tests...." [/color]

A bit of steam shot out from her elbows as she scanned before her eyes returned to normal. [color=00aa44] "....Tests are returning normal parameters. ...What does this mean...?" [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"Well, that answers the question wherther or not we were left here on our own, at least." Solaris remarked, mostly speaking to herself as she took note of the signs on life coming from the various rooms. Seeing Carmen sulk around, Solaris raised an eyebrow at the sight. She's still being all moody? Shrugging to herself slightly, Solaris began following after Carmen.

Selim stood by as Vera scanned herself, looking more curious when the steam shot out from the elbows. This prompted Selim to approach closer, and lean over to Vera, looking curiously at the elbows. When Vera ascertained everything was normal, Selim looked up to her. [color=915f6d]"Maybe... you're just chilly? You're only wearing a coat, afterall."[/color] He stated. Stepping away from the desk, Selim made his way to the bed, and held up the blanket. [color=915f6d]"Want to wrap my blanky around you? It's nice and warm!"[/color]

After the fight with Nanami and Solaris ended with a draw, and Solaris left quite promptly. Nanami had had a short look around the arena, mostly trying to figure out how the thing was supposed to work. She obviously didn't find anything out given her upbringing and lack of technology. Realizing she'd still not eaten anything from earlier she decided to head back to the lounge to try and hopefully figure out how that stupid box worked.

Waking up from sleeping, Erica left her suite, wearing a crimson shirt with a high collar, a pair of dark grey cloth trousers, held up by a black belt from which her satchel hung, and a pair of black leather boots. Not having put much effort into brushing her hair after getting out of bed, it hung rather disshelved.

Wanting to get something to have breakfast before inevitably needing to fight, she made her way to the lounge. Once entering, she stopped on her tracks, looking the curious sight that was Nanami over. "Oh. Hello. I don't think I've seen your here before... Are you new?" She asked, her curiousity at the sight present in her voice.

Nanami had been looking at the microwave food oven thing when she heard the voice. It took her a second to realize that she wasn't just imagining the voice and that she had actually physically heard it rather than just from her memories. When she eventually looked up, she had a double take as she realizing who was standing before her, and yet couldn't believe it.

She stood there staring at Erica for a long while like she'd seen a ghost, which wasn't that far of a stretch. Whaat finally broke the silence was the faintest of whispers. "Eerica?" She breathed.

 

[Chungus]

With Nanami calling Erica's voice, Erica's confused expression grew more confused, wondering how it was Nananmi knew Erica's name, while, even with her failing memory, she was rather certain she had never seen Nananmi before. "Yes?" She answered, although with a questioning tone. "Do we know one another?"

Nanami's shocked stature was still present as she continued to stare at Erica, almost feeling like if she looked away for a moment Erica would just disappear. When she heard that Erica wasn't remembering, although she knew Erica had had memory issues, hearing it now still stung. "Yyess. Erricca *kknoow* Nnannammi. III aamm Nnanaammi. Yyoouu nnott..." She started to explain, pointing to the side of her head when she said 'know'. She paused as she couldn't remember the word for book off the top of her head. She instead held out one hand like she was holding a book open in it, and then with the other hand made it look like she was writing on it. "Lleettter?" She finished, sounding understandably conflicted.

"Nanaaaa-mi? Nanami? Is that your name?" Erica questioned, having something of a hard time following Nanami, in no small part due to how awkward the situation was. When Nanami mimed writing in a book, but mentioned writing a letter, Erica was quiet for a moment, thinking one what Nanami was trying to convey, and wondering if she at one point recieved a letter from Nanami.

It took a few moments before she thought Nanami might be reffering to Erica's notebook,"One moment..." She said, reaching into her satchel, and begining to flip through it. After a few moments more, Erica closed it and stored it away again, before looking back up to Nanami, and shaking her head. "I'm sorry, but there is no mention of you here... Are you sure this isn't a case of mistaken idenity?" She questioned. "You think I'm someone else?" She added, realising Nanami having problems with the language.

By this point there was a blue glow that was coming from within Nanami's armour, even if the room was well lit. "Yyess, Nnanaammi." She repeated herself.

"Eeriica nott knnooww mmee..?" She sounded even more saddened. "Bbutt Eerricca ggoodd, shhe kknnoww llott, sshhe kkind, prroteect hhumman, shhe llisstten, shhe ffinne mmaggic... ttaauughtt Nnannammi..." She said as she raised one hand up like it was cupping something until a moment later a large well of healing magic formed in her palm, the same form that Erica would know very well. "Eeriica nnott ssomeoone eelsee! Eerricca mmyy ffriieend." She finished sounding like she would cry if she was capable of it.

With Nanami growing increasingly sad, Erica bit her lip slightly, starting to feel guilty. This doubled when Nanami demonstrated the healing spell. While Erica still thought she didn't know Nanami, the obviously Tamrielic spell was proof to the contrary. "I'm sorry, but I don't think..." She began, sounding more uncertain. "How long ago did we supposedly meet...?"

Nanami's world, and thus Nanami didn't really have a means of telling exact times, as 'Hey, there is light out.' and 'Night time.' and all those in between. They did have other methods, but knowing that it was exactly 3:04 or that it was a Wednesday meant nothing to them. Thus Nanami had to really think about how to put just how much time had passed since they had last met, which was a little over a year's time.

"Llotts nn llots nn lootss nnn llotss mmoonns." She said as she moved her hand around in an orbital fashion, moving quite quickly in a small circle. "III nnot kknoww." She still sounded upset by the whole thing.

Erica closed her eyes, and blew a mute sigh upon hearing Nanami's anwer, which didn't shed that on the situation. "Well..." She began, opening her eyes again. "Wherther or not we've met before, I don't remember you... But, there is nothing stopping me from getting to know you again." She added, smiling slightly, mostly in an attempt to cheer Nanami up.

After saying so, she glanced over to the bar, then back to Nanami. "Stories shouldn't be told without food or a drink, however. Would you like something?" She asked, pointing to the bar.

The blue glow from within the plate armour slowly disappeared when Erica asked if she could get to know Nanami again. She slowly nodded, then looked back to the microwave thingy. "III smmeelll ffooodd, bbutt nnoott." She said as she poked at the machine with her barbed fingertip. "IIss ffiisshh ffinne?" She asked, still not sure of herself on this.

 

[Chungus]

With her memory not being so poor as it was in the time when Erica did know Nanami, and having refreshed her memory on the parts she was hazy on due to having just read through her notebook, Erica knew how to operate the food dispenser. "That's the device through which we can get food, yes." She answered as she walked behind the bar, and approached the dispensor. "It works like this..." Tapping on the touch screen a couple of times, Erica selected the fish menu, followed by selecting smoked salmon. After, the microwave filled with light, and when this light died down, a piece of smoked salmon had materialised on a plate. "And there you go." Opening the door, Erica took the plate out, and held it out towards Nanami.

Nanami was rather shocked when the food seemingly appeared out of nowhere. "Maaggic thhingg?" She said as she sniffed at the plate for a moment before taking the plate from Erica. "Tthaannkkk yyou." She nodded.

 

[Chungus]

"I'm not certain if it's magic or not, it's hard to tell in this place. Some aspects seem to be magical, while other things aren't, and some seem to be a form of techno-magical hybrid." Erica answered. After Nanami took the plate, Erica smiled once more, before turning back to the food dispenser, and browsing through the list, before getting herself a plate of fresh bread and roasted ham. "Let's sit." She said, motioning over to the couch, then heading that way, grabbing cutlery on the way.

Sitting down, Erica looked back to to Nanami, while cutting into the ham. "That healing spell you showed me? You say I taught you that?"

Carmen continued to shamble around as Solaris followed after her. After a while, the woman stopped and turned back to Solaris, weakly tilting her head as she did. [color=bb0066] [small] "...What is it...?" [/small] [/color]

As Vera's elbows opened, Selim would see that the vents inside had something blue glowing within them in the short time they were open and exhausting the heat from the android's body. Looking to Selim, she tilted her head. [color=00aa44] "Unit hasn't had this problem before... Taking subject's suggested action." [/color] She took the blanket from Selim and wrapped in around herself slowly, before blushing a bit and holding it close. [color=00aa44] "Subject's assertion about the cloth was correct. Temperatures are nominal." [/color]

Nanami sat down at the couch rather awkwardly, but manage to regardless, the couch sank quite a bit down under her weight. She nodded as Erica asked about the magic. "Eeriicca ttauught llotts. III speaak ffiinnee ffor yyou. Ttauught woorrds." She said as she then looked down at the fish that she had, and removed her helmet.

Before she dug in, she said a silent prayer of sorts for the fish before taking a bite out of it.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing with what a defeated tone Carmen spoke, Solaris looked a bit suprised, although this went almost as quickly as it came. "Yes... Did you see Vanessa? I can't seem to find her." She asked, looking Carmen's more human appearance over more closely as she did.

[color=915f6d]"See? My blanky is awesome!"[/color] Selim exclaimed as Vera confirmed wrapping it around her helping. [color=915f6d]"Why do you think you're cold now if this never happened before, though? Did you catch a cold, maybe?"[/color] He asked quizically, moving closer to Vera again, then tip-toe-ing to get closer to her face.

"So, I taught you many things, including how to speak?" Erica repeated, then chuckled slightly. "I never saw myself being a teacher, I must confess." When Nanami removed her helmet, Erica looked somewhat suprised at the sight, looking Nanami's face over for a moment, before realising that this would be rather rude, and averting her eyes.

Nanami glanced at Erica for a second, her nearly black eyes making it a little difficult to know it she was actually looking at her or something else. She smirked a little when Erica looked away. "Yyoouu llook liikke tthatt bbefforre. IItt ffinne, III kknoww III nnoott ssamme." She said a bit more reasonably, seeming to understand why Erica was looking at her as she did. "Yyooou ggood tteeacch." She chuckled herself.
