Hearing Nanami, Erica's usually pale face took on more of a rosy colour as she blushed, slightly embarassed. "Yes... I've never seen anything quite like you, it took me by suprise. I'm sorry..." She said with a sheepish smile, twirling a lock of hair around her left index finger for a moment, before chuckling with Nanami. "Well... I'm glad that I was able to help you.." She said a moment later, smiling more warmly.

Looking down to her plate for a moment, Erica placed a slice of ham onto a slice of bread, and took a few bites, before looking back up to Nanami. "Where are you from, Nanami?"

Carmen's new human appearance would be seamless, her looking like she was a human all along, though one that hadn't taken care of themselves in a while. Her jacket's sleeves were grayed up a small bit from rubbing on the walls for the time she had spent wandering. The woman paused for a moment or two before shaking her head. [color=bb0066] [small] "Sorry... but I haven't seen her anywhere... You've checked her suite already, I'm assuming..." [/small] [/color] She said as she scratched the back of her head. [color=bb0066] [small] "....Her just vanishing isn't likely, but then again, you never know what the people here are up to. Watch yourselves." [/small] [/color] She said, looking to Solaris with her dulled eyes and then casting a glance to Pix afterward.

Vera chuckled a bit before shaking her head. [color=00aa44] "Unit is robotic in nature, catching a 'cold' shouldn't be possible... Perhaps unit has a malfunction it can't check...... Unit's manufacturer would be able to tell..." [/color] She said, tilting her head a bit more. [color=00aa44] "Subject's piece of cloth does have awe-inspiring warmth." [/color]

Nanami took another bite of the smoked salmon, and although it seemed strange in flavour, it was pleasant and a nice change. "III ffrroomm bbbiigg ooceean. Llott bbigg. Nno llanndd llike hhummann tthinng, anndd llott bbiig ffissh too." She answered back after thinking for a moment. "Nnaanammi, Rrookk, annd kknigghtss pprrootecct ffrrom llott bbigg ffissh."

Seeing Carmen's lifeless eyes, Solaris had to suppress a smile, being rather amused by the sight. "I've checked the suite already, yes. And anything happening to her, as you've said, is unlikely. That is, unless she stuck her nose in places where it shouldn't be without discretion, and our overseers took offence to it." She commented, then shrugged slightly. "Who knows." Seeing Carmen look down to Pix, Solaris raised an eyebrow. "That warning there... That's something I'd expect someone who knows more then they're letting on to say..." She commented, obviously implicating something, rather then just casually making a statement.

With Vera saying she couldn't catch a cold, Selim shrugged slightly, and backed away, chuckling along with her. [color=915f6d]"I guess that makes sense. But machines also aren't people where I come from, so I just thought, you never know."[/color] When Vera commented on the blanket, Selim laughed. [color=915f6d]"I don't usually like going to bed, but my blanky makes it better. I guess you never had one of these, huh? Since you don't sleep and all."[/color]

"A world without dry land, entirely covered by water..." Erica mused aloud as she thought on what such a world must look like. Not being familiar with sea life in the slightest, however, this soon came to a dead end. Looking back to Nanami, something did dawn on her, however. "There is no dry land, yet the bone structure in your legs clearly alow for walking, rather then only swimming... So, am I not seeing something here?" She questioned, pointing towards Nanami's legs.

Nanami looked down at her longish webbed feet, her long toes wiggling slightly. "III aamm ssoomme hhummann. Lleaarnned wwhenn oon ddryy llannd. Ppllacce mmeett yyou. IIss wwhhyy III ggoott lluungs." She said as she took in a exaggerated deep breath, which also showed the rather large amount of razor sharp teeth in her mouth. "Nnott ggood wwallkkingg. Iiss hharrd."

Carmen blinked at Solaris and sighed, shaking her head. [color=bb0066] [small] "I have nothing to do with it. The fedora girl doesn't interest me enough to want to interfere with her." [sub][sup] ...Nothing does. [/sup][/sub] [/small] [/color] She said, sighing again before continuing. [color=bb0066] [small] "It's likely she did something to that effect you spoke of though... She was always the tenacious type." [/small] [/color]

Vera nodded. [color=00aa44] "Unit has seen these used, but never employed use of one itself." [/color] She tilted her head a bit before looking to Selim. [color=00aa44] "What is it like to 'sleep'?" [/color] She asked, her normal tag of 'inquiring' oddly not present as she asked her question.

"You're part... human?" Erica questioned, trailing off momentarily when Nanami took the deep breath, where upon Erica looked to the set of teeth. "But if there are humans on your homeworld, then surely dry land must exist somewhere? Humans aren't made for a life underwater, afterall." She asked inquisitively, then paused for a moment as some scenarios ran through her head. "Or... were your parents from another world?"

"Well... We'll see if this is the case soon enough, I suppose." Solaris commented after a pause, during which she looked Carmen over again. Having asked what she wanted to ask, and not having any desire to inquire what was wrong with Carmen, Solaris nodded, before turning her back on Carmen. "Well, that's all for now. Good bye."

With that said, Solaris walked away, and began heading back to Ness' suite. "Well, this is an interesting development, wouldn't you say?" She asked Pix as she walked.

[color=915f6d]"What's it like...? Umm..."[/color] Selim began, looking up towards the ceiling as he seemed to think on how to best answer the question. [color=915f6d]"Well... It's kinda like feeling yourself... urr... slowly slip away. Yeah! Like, your sliding over ice, or something. Sometime, it even feels like you're falling over!"[/color] He answered. Sitting back down at his toy box, he rummaged through it, before pulling out various tin soldiers. [color=915f6d]"And when you fell asleep, you dream about stuff. This is like seeing stuff, except it's not real, but it feels real anyway."[/color]

Nanami shook her head as she was asked if her parents were from off world. "Nnaanammi'ss mmomm frrom wwatter. Sshee not frroom oothher wwatter."

"Shhe ggivve ssttoorry aabooutt hhumman, buutt shhe nnott kknnoow hhee hhumman. Hhee inn mmettall ffish, buutt ddeeadd." She tried to explain. "Bbigg ffissh hhurtt mmetall ffish. Shhe ttrry pprottect bbutt hhee ddiied."

Carmen waved Solaris off. As Solaris looked her over, nothing in Carmen's body language would suggest she was lying. Seeing Solaris walk off, the succubus continued onward aimlessly, her stomach growling a small bit afterward. [color=bb0066] ...Oh... as if this couldn't get worse... Then again, dying will just lead to me respawning anyway, so I guess I don't really need to care... [/color]

[color=80bb00] "Yeah... so what are we gonna do about Depressed Tits now?" [/color] Pix said. [color=80bb00] "She probably is the reason Lil' Miss Fedora's missing..." [/color] As they got back to Ness' suite, there would be no noise coming from it once again.

Vera tilted her head as she tried to imagine things the best she could from Selim's description. It ended with the robot tilting her head again with a puzzled expression on her face. [color=00aa44] "Unit.... doesn't fully comprehend the situation... but unit can not experience it firsthand... Ugh...." [/color] She ran her fingers through her hair and began to scratch at it rapidly. [color=00aa44] "Doesnotcompute.doesnotcompute.doesnotcompute...." [/color]

"A "metal fish"? I'm not sure what you mean by that, truthfully." Erica responded, shaking her head a little. "Regardless, I'm sorry to hear this person died died." After taking another bite from her breakfast and swallowing, Erica looked back to Nanami, with once again a quizical expression on her face. "Wait... But if he was dead on arival, then how did your mother get pregnant of him...?" She asked, pointing to her stomach where the womb is when she said the word 'pregnant'.

"Depressed Tits? Really..." Solaris repeated, then chuckled, before shaking her head. "As for what to do with her, nothing yet. She can go commit suicide again, for all I care. And I doubt she's responsible for the disappearance, too. But, if we can find something to the contrary... well, then things will become even more interesting."

Reaching Ness' room, and still hearing nothing, Solaris looked down to Pix. [sub]"Could you squeeze a small portion of yourself through the crack in the door? It's better to see what's inside before barging in. You never know."[/sub] She commented, speaking in a whispering voice.

[color=915f6d]"Sorry, I don't really know how to explain it."[/color] Selim said appolagettically as he began lining the toy soldiers up in actual military formations, showing he had knowledge of such things. This went out of the window, however, when he began playing, and had every toy soldier charge at one another at once.

When Vera began running her hands through her hair, and speaking rappidly, Selim stopped what he was doing, and looked up in alarm. [color=915f6d]"Whoah! Calm down, Miss Robot! You're gonna blow up, or something!"[/color]

Pix grunted in the affirmative before sliding a strand of herself under the crack. Almost immediately, she retracted back in a bit of red on the tip of the strand. [color=80bb00] "Hot damn! That is messy!" [/color] She said incredulously.[color=80bb00] "Someone didn't care about being subtle..." [/color] Pix shrugged a bit afterward. [color=80bb00] "I dunno. The nickname seems fitting now. I was calling her Demon Tits in my head before." [/color]

Vera continued her behavior before she did indeed explode, however it was contained within herself, making her bloat cartoonishly before steam poured out of every open orifice she had.

Carmen continued her wandering around before she eventually dropped to her knees and eventually onto her face, her form slowly fading from existence in a small plume of black smoke until nothing was left of her.

Nanami looked at Erica before shaking her head then smiling. "IItt ffine. Hhe nnott ffitt thherre. Nnott wwatter." She said, sounding sympathetic.

When Erica asked about the pregnancy Nanami looked down at where Erica was pointing, tilting her head. "Wwhatt yyoouu mmeann? Wwhyy tthat hhellp?" She asked.

"Messy, is it? Now this has me intrigued..." Solaris stated as she looked at the red tip on the stand of goo. "Would there be any space to move without leaving footprints in the form of bloodstains, and if not, could you soak the blood up?" She asked with anticipation.

With her mind more focused on what fate befell Ness, she didn't comment on the nickname appointed to Carmen by Pix.

[color=915f6d]"M-miss Robot...?"[/color] Selim question as Vera continued with her frantic behaviour. When Vera expanded and exhausted steam, however, he screamed, and closed his eyes. Keeping his eyes shut, he waited for roughly a minute, before opening them again slowly, and standing up, carefully approaching Vera.

"Well, you're half human, yes?" Erica began when asked what she meant. "So then your mother had to be impregnated by a human. But, how could this have happened if he was died on arival?"

Nanami looked at rather confused at Erica for a while. Eventually she thought of a way to explain it. "Bbllooodd ttouuchh hherr. IItt waass bbeefforee mmoonns ttakke llight. Cloose eennouughh too mmakke prreggnant?" She tried to explain, gesturing in kinda a grabbing motion as she said the moons took the light.

"Blood? The females of your kind can get pregnant from blood, even when it comes from an other creature?" Erica asked in a tone that sounded equally confused as Nanami was. "I've heard of the moons affecting a people, but never reproducing via blood... Interesting." As she finished her breakfast, she thought on what Nanami had said, more so since Nanami herself didn't seem to sure. Without anything more to go on, however, her speculating didn't get very far. Laying the empty plate aside, Erica looked back to Nanami. "Anway. Earlier, you mentioned someone named... Rook? Who is that?"

"Rrookk pparttnerr. Hhe pprootecct mee annd mmee hhimm. Hhee biig ccraab. Wee kknigghts." She tried to explain, spreading her arms out wide as she mentioned his size. "III nnott hheerre, eeassierr iff wwass." She added. "Hhee sstrrongg, bbutt soofftt." She chuckled as she seemed to smile.

Pix nodded. [color=80bb00] "The blood's all over the place so you're gonna get some of it on ya. I can clean it up though, so no worries." [/color] Pix said as she picked the lock. What Solaris would see is Ness' body torn up and mangled, dismembered body parts and innards strewn around the room and the majority of the room being red with the woman's blood, instead of the steel gray it was before. She'd also see the respawn machine sparking sporadically, though it looked to be completely fine.

Vera's chassis continued to billow out steam for a good few long moments before nothing happened. The steel body was still afterward, making zero movements.

 

[Chungus]

Entering the room after Pix picked the lock, Solaris reeled back once the rank smell hit her. "My, my... It looks like a dozen or so grenades detonated under her..." She said. Although she realed back, her voice was as matter-of-factly as it was always, not showing any signs of being shocked at the sight. Stepping further into the room, her footsteps making sploshing noises as she moved over the gore-covered foor, Solaris closed the door behind her, and locked the door, not wanting anyone barging in and thinking she was responsible for Ness' death.

Looking around the room more, she picked up on the sparks coming from the revival pod. "Hmm... So, my first thoughts here are that she either died, and then came back not quite as intended due to a malfunction, or that she tried to tamper with the revival device, and it ended up horribly backfiring." She said as she approached the pod.

[color=915f6d]"M-Miss Robot...?"[/color] Selim asked as he approached Vera's chassis closer, gently poking against her cheeck when close enough to do so.

"Uhh... I'm not sure what you mean there." Erica responded. "Things would be easier if Rook was here, is that what you're saying?"

Pix shrugged a bit, flowing off of Solaris as the door was locked behind her. [color=80bb00] "Both would be things that the higher-ups would've hated... Kinda glad I wasn't the one to have to deal with this first... We might wanna rethink that plan 'B' if this ends up being a result of trying to mess with the revival machines." [/color] She said sighing a bit, her feet slowly turning as red as Ness' blood and the rest of her body slowly becoming the same color as well.

The chassis continued to do nothing as Selim poked it.
