well good news on the hunt to figure out what chapter it might be. the marine sergeant is carrying a full sized bolter not a bolt pistol and there are only 2 groups in the table top game that i know of who can do that, Space Wolves, and Plague Marines. and it sure isn't a Plague Marine. although the colors on the armor didn't really look Space Wolfish
Actually, if you go by 3rd edition space marine codex, you could make any codex chapter that could do this so it's a mute point.

And lets not nitpick about TT rules. Lets just try to get Bolters right first before we quibble over Pistol v Bolter.

This has to be great. And a quick question, from what legion was the Chaos Marine?
Looks like World Eaters.

It looks wrong.
A bolter is not some uzi, its a miniture rocket launcher.
GAH. They need to flesh out the combat system. A space marine is not graceful like an eldar. He will hack the shit out of what he sees as a heretic.

It has potential. But it needs to be unlocked!

Wouldn't say World Eaters. Most of the legion are beserker close comabt based so bolters don't really fit (would be chain axe and bolt pistol and shouting out about blood for the blood god and such). If any of the traitor legions, it looks most like a Word Bearer to me.

Yeah sorry, being a bit pedantic. Agreed, get the weapons respective of the fluff before we quibble on details.

I remember seeing an early video for that. I hated it, because they made the bolt pistol do the same kind of thing Dante's pistol in Devil May Cry does. I.e, nothing at all.

It's not a peashooter, its A GUN THAT SHOOTS MINIATURE EXPLOSIVE ROCKETS! MAKE IT ACT LIKE ONE!

Apart from that, I'm pretty optimistic. But the Imperial Guard are always better. Sure you can have your huge armour and genetic enhancement and what is essentially an RPG pistol, but it takes real balls to take on the galaxy with naught but a lasgun and flak jacket.

he's right

I'd love to see one following the more notable regiments of the guard, such as gaunts ghosts, the 597th valhallens or the last chancers. It be better because they're really in more urban and heavy combat, and how fun would it be to play these characters? and it is pretty bad ass to fight off the worst of the imperiums enemy with an insane commissar over your back threatening to kill you for retreating.
