Yeah, for this reason I'm going to (controversially) claim that
Inquisitor was the best game they ever made, they just did an awful job of teaching people how to play it in a way that was actually fun.

I think at this point it's become
memetic because it's so silly, but at this point 90% of the narrative is wrestling promo level.
I admit it is kind of fascinating just as a relic of late-80s/early-90s comic book/metal culture, and I think that explains a lot of its appeal because nowadays that kind of aesthetic is kind of unique, but it's also a sad reminder of just how ridiculous that time was.
