First character. Everyone lives, even the crew. Expression: Was this suppsosed to be difficult?

Second Character. Everyone lives except the cerberus team. Expression: What the fuck is everyone whining about? This is piss-easy!

Third character. Tired of Mass Effect 2, awaiting patience to initiate Suicide mission.

I fell out with Tali during her side-quest so had my bessie Mordin go in for the engie vent-opening job- bad call; he got shot whilst helping me close the door. Everyone else survived, needless to say I was pissed, so close to getting that achievement.

Had Jack die on my first playthru, but everybody survived in the second run.
yeah. but zaeed died on my first run as well. i just could not settle the jack-miranda fight without taking sides, so i decided i didnt like jack as much. hell, i still couldnt settle it on my second run, she just didnt die because i left all the heavy hitters as meat shields to hold off the guys while i killed the reaper

On my first playthrough, with my "main" Shepard, Tali died. I didn't know the rules for survival, especially how Tali and Mordin are some of the most likely to die if they stay in the last part and are not on your team. (Mordin was on my team at the very end, so didn't die).

This being my "main", I'll keep it this way for ME3, even though I'd really like to save Tali. I also lost Kelly and half the crew because I didn't think there was a timer.

I'll have to live with the consequences of my actions (that's one thing I really like about ME as a trilogy).

Everyone lived, which was pretty cool.

Is it possible to have everyone die though?
The only way everyone can die is if you have absolutely no upgrades and everyone is disloyal. Then everyone including Shepard will die.

In my playthrough, everyone lived. On Insanity. As a Vanguard.

Everyone survived, I didn't need a guide. Let's see if I can remember...

Legion was the tech specialist in part one, Garrus the squad leader.

Samara was the biotic specialist, I had Miranda lead the team. Mordin lead the team back.

My party was Tali and Grunt through the whole thing.

I just looked up the wiki on the suicide mission, and it says that Mordin is the only ideal squad member to escort the rescued crew back, as it will ensure his survival. I'm under the impression that there are other ways though... It just wouldn't make sense.

Lost noone on my first playthrough. Am currently playing through the game agais as Renegade(otherwise known as: Asshole Sheperd) just for the laughs. Don't expect many to survive this time 'round.

First time through no one died.
Everybody liked me, did all the buddy-quests and it just seemed obvious what to use each character for.

1st time (soldier) I lost Jack (d7on't care) 2nd time and the next 7 or 8 playthroughs no one died. (Sentinel, Adept, Infiltrator.) I think sentinel is my favorite class.

If you leave Mordin or Tali in the last part with the rest of the people fending off the collectors, they will probably die. Mordin is more likely, if he isn't there then Tali. On my 1st playthrough I had Mordin on my party so he didn't die, but Tali stayed and died. I sent Garrus to escort the rest of the crew to the Normandy because I thought it could be dangerous. Turns out that anyone can go, basically, so for this playthrough I should have sent Tali to escort, then everyone would have stayed alive.

It's mostly easy to keep everyone alive, except for this last part.

Well, I guess it makes sense that the last decision would have the highest stakes. Choose wrong and there's no mercy. It just sucks that it has to revolve around the survival of my two favorite characters. D:

Knew how to manage them even before I started the mission. I had Legion hack and Garrus be in command of the 2nd group, while Grunt took the survivors back to the ship. I thought I could get them all through but Jack died cause she wasn't loyal.

I know how to get her loyal though and I am gonna get them all out safe for the Arrival DLC. The best team to have for my part was Miranda (overload AND warp) and Kasumi (deadly shadow strike-400 damage biatch!).

Also, Locust SMG. That fucking gun can make short work out of EVERYTHING. By the time direct control was assumed, whoever was under it had only 25% health.

I sacrificed Tali cause I hated that stupid *****.
Lol. I've yet to meet someone who doesn't hate at least one companion. I feel special, I love every one of them.
I liked all of them, too. Although I do think Jacob was rather bland compared to the rest.

Also, anyone who hates Tali is a bad human being.
lol, seconded!

I went in having no idea that you could lose anyone at all. I beat it with everyone (including the ship crew that was abducted) surviving. I didn't find out until I went online to have discussions of the game without worry of spoilers that you can have everyone die.

I'm just glad I have such a perfectionist attitude. I do everything in a game, even if there's no foreseeable goal. I just can't stand to leave something not done, so I ended up upgrading the ship with no reason to.

I've only finished it once, and I've lost no-one. We will see how my Engineer play through turns out, though its not hard to save everyone.

I managed to save everyone. Honestly, it didn't seem like it was that difficult to do it. Next time I'm going to actively try to get every single person killed.
