I was thinking that the entire time I was reading this article. Preemptively, I will say I would love this. But, cautiously, I'll wait to see how Epic Mickey plays out first.

I'd prefer a game about PK, Donald's unlikely superhero alter-ego. The Italian made PKNA series discovered the perfect way to deal with the nineties gritty antihero when it was still being taken at face value.
