Everyone with a brain today hates Fox News. They have been exposed for their incredibly ignorance so many times that their outright idiocy omnipresent in terms of commentary.
About a year ago, Jon Stewart called out one of their commentators. He (Jon) played a clip where one of her guests accused Fox of shenanigans and she called him a liar, the next clip (dated a week before) showed her displaying those very shenanigans. Proving her wrong, apparently made her cry. I thought that was gold.

But yeah, I bet Fox "news" is going to start a flamewar. With puppets.
Pretty sure that was Megyn Kelly being nailed for stating that Fox News never calls anyone a Nazi. Though Stewart's called them out on a lot of different occasions for that BS.

And that's all that needed to be said.

Seriously: How the fuck does FOX NEWS of all companies have any sort of credibility in promoting morals and "family values"? They're a knee-jerk "infotainment" show.
Accepting "family values" from them would about as effective as modeling parenting on Jerry Seinfeld sketches.
You wanna know what I want to know?

How the FUCK are they still around? They're like the worst "news" (if you can even call it that) station, why are they still around? I wish they'd like shrivel up and die and then be forgotten forever. Fox who?

Fox News has yet to respond to these brilliant barbs, but it probably won't be long before they go on the air about how Kermit and Piggy's relationship goes against traditional family values.
I doubt it. I mean, if Fox News wanted to cry foul on being in a relationship with a pig, they'd have to make all their pundits get divorced.

BOOSH!

Well, the Frog thinks he owns it, and the Pig says he does.

WOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH!
Has anyone said that you win the internet?

But yes, oh poor Fox. You know you've hit rock bottom when puppets can get valid shots on you and there's jack you can do about it. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Anyone else want that oil dude they interviewed to have a heated debate with the Muppets? Totally Pay-Per-View material.

Yes that was it, didn't recall the person's name tho.

i wonder if the people who write Fox commentator's copy are intentionally setting them up. I imagine the turnover at that place must be fairly high, if they are caught.

There will be a few quips about a pig hooking up with a frog. Not that they ever did as I recall, Miss Piggy wanted to but Kermit was always deflecting her advances. Back to my point, they will make an issue of their relationship, and someone, someone, will let it slip by comparing it to a white man and a black woman (or vice versa).

When Fox runs with the Idiot Ball, they grab it with both hands, go the full length of the field, through the exit, on to the street, run to the airport, get on a plane, fly to another country half-way around the world, run down the exit ramp and spike the ball on the tarmac.

So Rupert did have something to say about this.

I love how puppets are smarter than FoxNews correspondents.
I understand that right wingers want their own version of the Daily Show, I don't understand why it needs to be 24hrs.

They're totally pro-family values: War, torture, vigilante violence....

I can't decide which has more puppets, the Muppet movie or a list Fox News political pundits.
Don't be ridiculous. Fox News are more comic-book supervillains.

The only time I can remember being totally on Fox's side of their righteous anger was when they attacked the WBC.
I happened to be on their side when they attacked Ron Paul. I felt dirty. Very dirty.

Of course, there's something hilarious about the former home of Glenn Beck attacking a racist conspiracy theory nutjob....

Not to mention, "showing people's hypocrisy through video clips" is pretty much the Daily Show's thing.

A personal feeling of mine is that rather than use Krimet and Miss Piggy, they should have used Statler and Wldorf. Then that clip would have been by default ten times more funny, because well anything those two say pretty damn hilarious.

Yeah, but think about how good a "Fox News" credit has to be if you decide to go elsewhere. Some of the best fiction on TV.

To be fair, both groups are only as smart as the people pulling their strings....

And this is why I love the muppets, no matter how grumpy I am in the mornings before my coffee, all it takes is a one minute clip to send me off with a smile on my face.

Not that I give a shit about FoxNews being attacked, it just feels a bit wrong having it be done directly by Kermit and Miss Piggy.

These characters always lived in their own little world, and seeing whoever pulled their strings use them in a slanderous attack feels a bit like the Muppets being misused. They're The Muppets; They don't need to directly voice their opinion about FoxNews, and dragging them into that feels like a detriment to what they stand for.

I know FoxNews attacked them first, but they should've just ignored it or had the creators of the movie voice their opinion themselves, not by using the actual characters.

lol. Good punchline.
You don't have to sugar coat it, we know that the puppets are slightly more intelligent on their own.
