Everyone was railing critics for getting this show cancelled. Turns out the critics couldn't have been more right. Many fanboys died to bring us this information.
The truth lies within the gate. Or so we are told then they release snip-its and then we are all like holy shit that sucks while other people are like fuck them for cancelling it.
Now you've lost it? You know how to kill?
I actually just watched that entire series on Netflix including that weird final episode dealing with cherry blossoms WEIRD AS FUCK! My dad is pissed at me because all that is on the recommended viewing is animes.
LOL! My sister and I did the same thing to my parents Netflix! XP

You could also swap out Wonder Woman for any other character and I would still yawn. An invisible jet and a really special lasso? Really? The X-Men had Cerebro in the 60's. Sorry, I just don't get the appeal of Wonder Woman beyond camp.

Bleh, I thought Lois and Clark was terrible, boring, and corny, but what do I know.

Anyway, there's a serious problem with Wonder Woman's character, and it's not just the bondage thing in her background. I think part of it is that she may be too feminine for a male viewing audience (she's a feminist icon I guess) and too masculine for a female viewing audience (she's an Amazon who solves a lot of her problems by punching them), or at least that's been my impression. I think she works best as a prominent member of the Justice League rather than leading her own show/comic.

Wonder Woman will always fail in a live-action setting because she is just too god damn ridiculous. She's Xena in an American Gladiators outfit. How can that possibly translate to any other medium other than cartoons and comic books? DC tried to fix this by giving her pants and a nifty jacket not too long ago until fanboys complained that a fully clothed woman in a comic book series was just utterly unacceptable.

And somehow NBC only realized this after they sank hundreds of thousands (or millions?) of dollars into a pilot that was doomed to fail from the minute they turned the lights on in the costume department.

I can see firing Jeff Zucker is doing wonders for them.

Yeah, that was really terrible. And yes her outfit looks out of place. But I must admit, it sure wouldn't look out of place in my bedroom, if you know what I mean. *wink wink nudge nudge*
Know what I mean? Nudge nudge, wink wink! Say no more, say no more! Nudge nudge wink wink!
