OoC: @Wacky Me and @silver had an idea. One or two of us leave this thread and set up a newbies-only thread, so we can scan for new talent.
Uzzi looked around for landmarks. "Dammit. Looks like we're in the middle of nowhere. Could have sworn I had the right calibrations." He saw a sign that read 'Taika Town 200 miles ==>'. "Well, at least we know where we are. 200 miles from where we need to be."

Ignis blocked the shots as Relius stood up, then scooted behind Erica. Both the doll and it's owner lunged at Erica from different directions.
Sephiroth sighed again.
In this world full of those being Controlled - and so, he supposed, part of a larger world full of Controllers - there was virtually nothing he could do that would get him noticed. It was sad, really. He had been brought into existence only to affect the plot, and he could not even do that.
He, and his Controller, were useless.
For now, those who knew each other, who had been designated the important ones somehow, were doing whatever they felt would make their characters the most prominent. For that was the goal of each and every Controller here:
BECOME THE MAIN CHARACTER.
Of course, that could only happen to one fortunate being.
And it would not be him, the newcomer amongst those who had decided that they would be the ones to create the world as they saw fit, to designate the plot to those who were the most noticeable.
His Controller left him, and he was left an empty shell until the being responsible for his entire existence returned.

There was no way Erica could doge the blows in time. She was hit from from different directions and fell to the ground, severely injured.
Ignis' claws had torn several large gashes in her side while Relius' puppet hands caused internal bleeding.
Erica lay defeated on the ground, desperately trying to hold on to her fragile life.

Relius was thrown away by Gwen just after he hit, but that place him out of range of Kalin. Ignis took the shots, but bearly reacted. Ignis turned on Gwen slashing as Relius stood up, rushed over to Erica, and continued his mental assault, drawing out memoires of pain, battle, fear.
Rachel watched on and saw Erica hit the ground.

As her life blood left her heart, streaming to places where it shouldn't go, the world began turning grey and its sounds mute.
In this sorry state, the twilight between life and death, there was nothing Erica could do to guard against Relius' mental onslaught.
It would seem that thy newfound life is comming to an end.
If only thou had not seperated thyself from me, I could hath healed thee. I made thee invincible...

Relius almost grinned at his progress, then scowled as Gwen took Erica away. He blocked Kalin's mace with a puppet arm, then motioned to Ignis, who slapped away Gordon's gun and made a grab for Erica.
Rachel made a Magika barrier.
