OOC: Just a reminder: the spirit bolts do no physical damage. Their main purpose is to slow/paralyze enemies. The effect is cumulative, as in the more you get hit the more you feel it, and they always hit the intended target.

Relius got up, frustrated. He had come so close to getting a valuble test subject, and now these fools were getting in the way of his research! Relius ran towards Gordon and Joe, swiping with mantis-like claws.
Gerry continued to fire at Relius, a rare look of stoic determination on his face.

After Erica's breathing got more steady, she got up and looked Grace in the eyes.

OoC: Looks like Relius is here. I was thinking of starting the "Beginning of the End." My villainous plot today. If it all plays out right we could probably end it this weekend, Saturday at the earliest. That would free up @Nail for his own plot (I read he could start his when mine ends) and finish this hold over from the old thread. That sound good?
Relius was frozen in place by the spirit bolts, and fell as Gordon fired into his chest. In his prone position, he avoided most of the shotgun pellets. Ignis managed to repair and float away just in time to dodge Gwen's attack, flying over to Relius, helping him to stand.
